It's Sunday, a slower day here at my house. What's going on with you and yours on this simple Sunday?

Thank you for starting us on this simple Sunday Twins' Mom!!

Adult stuff...
Blankets x 3
Litter box x 1
Make beef stew (started already)
Pots and pans (started)
Bathroom garbage needs to be dealt with... and the fun stuff...

Stitching (working away on current project)

sports on TV Football until the baseball game against Seattle Mariners starts tonight at 8. Pregame discussion has started.

It's very blustery here today. Like dh said, Mother Nature needs to knock down those leaves. They are flying off the trees!!

hi d twins!!!
hi d cathy yay on your morning!!!
hi everyone

looks like a slow day!

we had a hard day yesterday
dd s are with mom and helper with mom (mom is having breakfast)
I need to regroup.

watching yesterday's book club discussion.
the challenge: list the real habits of the household - what are your priorities that you want vs what takes priority in your day.

what needs doing: finish going through all the bathroom cabinets, medicine continue, etc.
pull of dog stuff and put on the dining room table for dd to go through there.

Came home from my early morning, walking and had my coffee and watched the news. Sat here a while with sweetie and talked.

I decided I needed to color my hair today so I got up and started that process. In the meantime, while I was waiting for it to color, I stripped my bed and put the sheets in the washer. They’re going around now and I need to also remake my bed.

It’s a see it do it kind of a day… I see several things I really want to do that I’ve been bugging me so I guess that’s where my focus is going to be.

Lucy Lee… ours was a tough game to watch many mistakes made in the refs seem to favor the Alabama team. Even I spotted a lot of penalties I should or shouldn’t have been done and I’m not very good at that kind of thing.

I have my music going and I’m about to remake my bed and start the rest of my day.

Waving to you all… Hope you have a great day.

Good morning

DH stayed in bed later than usual, so we missed the early church service, but we plan to attend this evening.

I’ve been tackling decluttering and organizing in short bursts almost every hour. To avoid getting overwhelmed and shutting the project down, I’m careful to pace myself both mentally and physically. Decision fatigue is real!

Homeschool lesson plans and daily calendar assignments are my top priorities today.

This afternoon, I’ll be taking DD14 to the city for her hair washing and deep soak.

The weight of homeschool and public school responsibilities is kicking in—I have eight appointments or events lined up this week.

dd younger is cleaning the kitchen
yesterday I had emptied the shelves for the kitchen shelves in the laundry room - washed it down and them mom's heart struggled yesterday and everything got left out.
she made a comment on keeping one job at a time -- I burst into tears - I said every day I clean the counters, sink, dishes, stove, microwave - I spent the whole week washing out cabinets and dejunking. I said I couldn't yesterday.
she did apologize. I normally don't cry - If it wasn't for mom and working so hard dejunking and cleaning for the holidays - I probably wouldn't have been upset.

my meds/dog meds/misc vitamins done. now for moms meds

So glad to have a quieter week coming up. I wanted to get to Nashville before the time change, because I hate driving home from there in the dark. I'd like to make a trip to Knoxville soon to that library. Might see if my dcousin there could have dinner with me, and I'd stay overnight in a hotel, research the next day if needed, and come home in daylight.

Dh had a massage and he's going across town the meet the guy who is redrilling his bowling balls. So far I don't think it's helped his game, but it's keeping him busy, lol. This afternoon we see Churchill - a one man show, Churchill reminiscing in 1963 about his life and times. Don't know if we'll eat out or not. I have in mind I could throw together some tomato soup when we get home - not Campbells but from canned tomatoes without sugar. Contains onions too, and basil over, which we still have.

Yesterday while waiting at the library I wrote down about 100 things that are "Must Do" "Nice to Do" or just OMM. I need to work through those and do some prioritizing. Some need to be done today/tomorrow. We have a wedding next weekend - must make sure I have something to wear. May need to have some altered quickly. And I need to go to bank tomorrow re HOA account, and need to do HOA checks.

We have much cooler weather today - high only in high 60s, gusty winds expected, and we had rain overnight and this a.m.

I'm going to go get my shower so I'll be ready to go out in a couple of hours...

finished my book club discussion.

today was
Habits of the household what are they - are they good for your heart
Habits - you can fall into them without noticing
are you a slave to your habits -
we may not be unaware of what fills our days - are they good for us
where your treasure is - so is your heart.
do you get lost owning things -
how many lifetimes would you need to use all the stuff you have,
are your goals matching your habits.
------------------------------------------
meds gone through - now to finish the dining room
kitchen is looking nice and empty (dd younger)
