I'm talking about aprons! Do you have one? Do you wear one? Do you need one to keep you from getting splattered with cookie dough or flour or grease?

How prepared do you need to be? If you are hosting a crowd or just a couple of others, are you still writing lists and checking them twice? Are you overthinking what still needs to be done? Are you calm and ready for what the day will bring? Have you been invited somewhere?

Dh will be watching football at some point today. I have no idea what to make for supper. There is a dirty pot in the sink and a dirty bowl that appeared over night. Other than that, my pots/pans/large utensils and all dishes are clean. Now I just have to put them all away. Easy peasy.

There was NO snow over night even though it was predicted. "Snow squalls expected this evening" "Snow will begin before midnight" "Expect a snowy day tomorrow" etc. I guess weather forecasters can say whatever they want and still keep a straight face the next day when they tell us the same thing all over again.

it's amazing how dishes show up, isn't it?! We always say the dishes had babies! (almost like guppies)

I bought christmas aprons for dd's, mom, and myself for our cookie/gingerbread making time.

d harriet praying for your d cousin - I pray she enjoys her granddaughters wedding shower and wedding! That she is comfortable and happy and heals fast!

We got the cold and with our family room having boards up rather than a wall; it's awfully cold in the kitchen. I put up a blanket between the family room and kitchen but will need insulation boards to keep the cold out. It's 27 and the wind has been wild.

I have work to do but I need to have my coffee and milk first.

dd orders presents are done - she gave me an idea last night and I ordered it. dd younger has an idea and needs to send me a link.

Tuesday night, I had a bad night sleep so I took a nap in the afternoon - well needed. dd's cleaned mom up last night for me. very nice!
I ended up not prepping the salads for today but that's okay - I can do it at 7:30

I was looking at things as too big: short panic but now I have a plan. easy peasy plan.

I have an apron my mom made I do not wear it.
Was going to make one but the print was going the wrong way and there was not enouh.
So that project failed. No time to do others like I wanted DD would like one.

Rough nite for me too. Up at mid nite ish.
Again at 4:30 stayed up back was not so good the first 5 in of today.
But is better but by bit.

BS roller coaster' hormonal I think two low yesterday and today it's in ack land.
Deviled eggs are made. I'm done with my part for today. Sipping coffee now.

I worked on yarn projects last nite the crochet ones were more fun as I remember this batch not so much.
Some yarns are nicer than others one could be a flag if a person made enough to the pieces they are in rows.
mile a minute stitch only one Skein the yarn is the not so good one in red white and navy.
Other one is nice only one of it I'll be continuing to "practice" on it. Black teal purple are the main colors.
Knitting project is 3/4ths of the way done now. Yea and it turning out the best so far.

I needed this morning - starting now!
mom slept most of the day yesterday. Not sure if I will stay home with mom or take her with.

I am. Serving bowls are out and assigned a use. It is just a matter of doing the final hour of last-minute things.

Each of the 4 small towns around me are hosting Thanksgiving meal for community. Everyone is invited and it is free. I do love to see caring for others in action.
