Have a good night everyone. Thanks for the good company
See you tomorrow.
How true - we always have such good company here as we go through our Parade of Daily Adventures!
I benefit from checking in to hear from all who post when they can through busy and productive days. Or want to chat for encouragement or inspiration on days that might be a little more detoured, a little more humorous!
Off to a busy morning out in a very ccccold world today. Brrrrrr! bbl poof.

Good morning
out in a very ccccold world
It was cold enough to have ice on the windshield again this morning. Although, we don't have anything like the weather people are talking is going to happen in the far Northeast of us. Record cold temps and 2-3" of snow per hour?! Brrrr....
I didn't get out of bed until the alarm went off to wake the teens. That meant that I was running a bit behind of schedule so i have spent the last 2 hours playing catchup. it is trash day so the weekly task of taking trash to the road added another 15 minutes to my morning. With consistent effort I am gradually catching back up to my hourly pathway goal.

yay d harriet on getting more presents and wrapping them. I know you have appointments today - hope it's a very good day!!! stay warm!!!
d kitty I loved this from last night - just like d harriet!
"Have a good night everyone. Thanks for the good company
See you tomorrow." thank you! have a great day
hi d lady - I am always amazed by your weather! super hot and then cold - I feel like you just finished up your garden!
can you imagine 2 -3 " of snow in the Northeast - send it to us over here!
cheering you through another great day!
wishing everyone a wonderful day!
I am a little bummed bc we are supposed to have rain tonight - not good for the building project
plus I like the snow.
dd younger is going to take our laundry to the cleaners
I have lots to do.
lunch will be the soup I made yesterday - I think I will make another soup for mom as she can't do soup. dinner: ? I have to make the cabbage.
waiting for a new dog food container bc we lost the lid to the one - something makes me think it's a lump under the snow in the back yard. Maybe I should play pam and Peggy's "name that lump" game.
I honestly think I will not buy a tree this year. I have a small fake one 4'ft. tall in mom's area (the front room) set up.

next shower: dressed, I might even wear a christmas apron
ordered groceries for other soup and challah for French toast - tomorrow's dinner
swept the kitchen floor and rinsed - I really wanted to hand wash the floor but realized that would be too much for today.
mom is a bit cranky - she ate and had her meds but not engaged or cheerful.
more cement work done on the addition.
I am really impressed with the young man that is a head of the project - to be so young and so responsible is great to see.
nice young man. I have said that before but felt I needed to say it again
while mom was in the kitchen, I put on 9 to 5 on my computer - forgot how funny it was.
I need to bring the soup containers down to the freezer -
I have been folding and flip flopping laundry - like a pro
I usually do the bathrooms but I am thinking of pushing it to tomorrow.
put together a new shelf for mom's stuff - the last one was terrible
got another christmas gift in and some stocking stuffers in.
dd younger is getting the last of the dental work done.
what is next:
wrap the one present and put downstairs
bring slow cooker downstairs and put in plastic box for shelf
bring soup downstairs
empty groceries -
at 3 make salad and another soup
counters, stove, microwave, dog food container fixed - put in laundry room, sink
I want to stretch this afternoon
grab a box of christmas stuff.
sweep front hall
sweep dining room
rinse

We had a light frost on the car windows and grass last night too. DH said he had to scrape before going to workout. I'm having much needed body work at 11:30 - my lower back and glutes/hamstrings have been achy, especially when I sleep.
I've been mostly on this a.m. Laundry in dryer, dog is walked. Need to wash my face and do oral care still, I'm eating brunch now.

Stay warm, Harriet!
Hmm… nobody else is here yet. Everyone’s morning must be as busy as mine is about to be. We have errands to DD’s bank, picking up DC for the hair appointment, going to the hair appointment, and swinging by the BMV because they mis-scanned one of DD’s documents for her Real ID.
So I will be reading/writing during my downtime waiting for the kids.
And here’s LadyM! Glad your DH had a good day yesterday. Also glad your day is getting back on track.
At DD’s bank now, waiting for her to deposit checks.
Hey, blessed! Would love to see you in your Christmas apron. DH has enough Christmas ties accumulated over the years that he can wear a different one each class day So what are you making for your mother?
At the hairdresser’s now. For once, I didn’t have to twiddle waiting for DC very long. Snow started between the bank and picking up DC.
Glad you’re taking care of yourself, Twins!
I’m going first at the hairdresser, because I’m getting dye, so I will leave you now. Have a great day!

I’m getting dye
Are you staying with same color or venturing into a different color?
Curious minds want to know
My 3 things for today -
** Follow up on DH diabetic shoe prescription. I haven't received a call from medi equip place.
** Finish decorating house for Christmas and put tubs away.
** Research and learn how to use cronometer fasting options.
Spaghetti with meat sauce is in process of being made. It is a teen favorite reoccurring meal that is scheduled to repeat every 14 days.

I've done several needed things so far:
-body work, back and shoulders are sorted out
-return at Staples
-ran into Lowes for gallon size 409 stuff
-in and out of grocery for Cheez-its and Dr. Pepper for dog sitter
-5K steps so far
Still have a list going, of course, and adding to it every time my brain kicks in. Dh was going by his old office today to take care of some $$ matters so house is quiet. He's bowling tonight too. I'm going to take a few minutes to look at list and the reminders I've added while driving. Tiny note pad in car to capture those kinds of things....
and a bit later....I am going to work for 45 mini beginning right now, that will take me to :15 after the hour. Alarm is set...

Morning gals!
I slept in till 7:15

Yea for great sleep.
Got the can to the road I do not actually have a curb here.
Then spent the rest of the morning writing putting writing prompts on paper.
Then in my writier's notebook Later I"'l put em in a comp. not book after
I decide if one or more per page is needed. Listened to a yt on the 12 wk yr. stuff as I did work the prompts.
got the can back from the road and put more leaves in it to go next week.
The frees up a couple of smaller cans to fill after the ones out front are not as wet, we had rain in the nite.
Had a late bfast.
Walked around the block to get a look see for the neighbors project a
shed or garage for "stuff" car 4x4 stuff on their patio I suspect will go in it.
Not surprised.
Got my "yarn' it's more like thread will need to be plyed to be of use for me
not sure it will work for the socks project. Dang its more like crochet thread;
or embroidery floss.
I was surprised when friend stopped by with a wreath she had made.
Just after I"d put my old one in the shed for giving away it was not
heavy enough to with stand out winds here.
Next up:
thinking....
might goof off after lunch
I have soup thawed and stuff squash too so need to eat that.

I'm back. Not such a hard day. I could really feel the meds kicking in with some grogginess (yes, there was "Oh, and One More Thing", always is).
Traffic was strange since schools were on a delayed schedule for some reason. Not as much of a problem as it might have been.
HRH walked a long way and brought us back breakfast to have there. Having to eat in the same chair was one of the reasons I didn't take the embroidery project today. Getting any stain on it just isn't worth it, plus there are constant interruptions of course. Next time I'll take it.
We are having little pizzas for late lunch. I just chopped bell pepper onto them and sprinkled basil. He popped them into oven.
Need to take everything for gift wrapping back out of the LR since we will be having company and the child may not understand that most of the presents are for others. We had that problem other years. Plus, the wrapping detritus will be out of the way.
Then eat, maybe take a short nap to be ready.
Nancy, good job getting the long sleep.
When that alarm rang early this morning, I could have hit it, lol. HRH said if Alexa knew the thoughts he was thinking of her she would never speak to him again.
