Good Morning and Happy Galentine!
(((((Group Hug)))))

We received 1/2 inch of rain overnight. It was MUCH needed and appreciated.

I have the 3 teens Valentine treats ready to give to them later today. I bought them online and didn't realize how childish they looked but WHATever. It is the thought that counts, right?

Hi!

I'm not always as sweet as some of you might think I am. On the other hand, my dh thinks I'm too sweet for him sometimes. I guess it all balances out in the end.

My sweetie is still fast asleep on the couch/sofa. I've been up for almost 2 hours.

Litter boxes need my attention today.
I need to call and make dh an appointment with the nurses for tomorrow.
Dh has 2 different sets of 2 guys coming over to look at the garage today because he has decided to rent it out. He has worked with 3 of the 4 guys coming over.

I will be making dh's favourite pasta for supper. I refuse to go out to celebrate Valentines. In our house it's very low key. "Just a card!" No decorating or gifts. Dh has requested chili but I will make that tomorrow morning.

It snowed a tiny bit last night but it's warmer than it has been. I will be able to sweep the snow off the path between the house and the garage door.

Later... cards have been exchanged and we had breakfast.

We are seeing "Sound of Music" the touring Broadway show this afternoon, and have a dinner reservation after with A and V. Quiet day I hope. I've walked ddog two laps and need to get ready...

Sad news this morning that dfriend M's ddog R uby has aggressive cancer, and has perhaps only a month. Ruby's surgery for a tumor on her spleen was the day before dMillie's so perhaps we'll hear from vets soon. Dmillie still not eating much, not eliminating much. It's hard to tell whether she's not eating because she's constipated or blocked, or is constipated/blocked up because she's not eating. Which came first?

I stopped off a driend M's house when millie and I walked, she had gone out but her dh was home. I gave Ruby a hug.

Morning gals I was up at 6:30 today.

Had to look up what Galintine was yesterday.
I've walked around in the back yard and downstairs in the basement.
Journaling & QT has happened,

60% rain today in our forecast here.
38* to 48* today's temp ranges.

I got out some yarns to consider next projects.
One purple trying the granny square crochet type stitch only triangle shaped for a shawl that's eluded me.
1st color done.
Pink knitting just cast on a prayer shawl.

Walked some ddoggo declined the next walking round as it was starting to rain.
I went with my umbrella did get most of my steps in.
I'll have to finish with the stat bike later on in the afternoon.
DD has dubbed her a "Princess Puppy". LOL!

Happy Heart day to all.
I sent happy heart day with heart emoji to family!

lol at Cathy's first response this morning, because I had a similar thought run through my mind about myself!

Must agree, however, that all of the villagers on our boards are "sweetie pies", lol.

Twins', such a bright beginning for us.
So very sorry to hear that your dneighbor and walking partner Ruby has this diagnosis.

The Sound of Music is one of the few (professional) plays I've been able to see in person. For one of my ddolder's teenaged bdays, I believe, my late dh took the four of us to see the touring company that starred Marie Osmond as Maria. I credit him for that decision, because I really don't remember making those plans myself. We had a great time - a lovely play.

Chatted briefly with dd27, who is on a trip to Houston. I neglected to ask when she flies back. Hoping it's not too long.

hello to all
dh got me a very sweet valentines day.
it's been a very long morning - no helper today as she has 2 losses in her family
made a compound butter with mom,
had mom wash her breakfast dishes and dry them - it's a slow and sometimes forgetful process but she was proud of herself
mom and I made valentines cards for immediate family and sent out pictures. mom loved gluing the hearts today.
dd older came down and saw what my mom made and told her how special it was and thank you. cute: mom: "you're so welcome" very sweet!

I am tired!
I have so much work to do but a nap may be a good idea.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

I just realized that there is a small container of chocolate sauce in the fridge from one day last week when I bought a fruit tray. There is also a nearly empty can of whipped topping in the fridge. Plus there were strawberries in the chest freezer. I also made a bowl of strawberry jello this morning. There are also peanut butter cookies in the freezer. I'm thinking chocolate drizzled strawberries on top of the jello with a small splotch of whipped cream with a peanut butter cookie sticking out of it. That will be for me. Dh will most likely just have the jello and one cookie.

There are few strawberries defrosting on the counter.

Dh says a friend of ours is coming over tonight to talk to dh about renting our garage.
