Thank you for starting us today Twins' Mom! I have lots of bright sunlight pouring through the east windows. I was stitching until dh wanted his coffee. Then I sat and watched some TV with him.

Cats don't want to go outside. It's minus 2 right now. I might try to get them outside later if it warms up.

Good news on those wood floors, bw2, that they're dry! Moving things back will help you feel "normal" again, whatever else is happening.

-2 degrees Cathy! I'm glad the sun is out for you!

Next up is tax return filing. I have a dental appointment today - they changed it to 1 p.m. from 3 p.m. and I'm good with that.

I'm trying to work on not snapping at dh right now. I'm feeling edgy with him underfoot. Cleaning kitchen counters and he comes in to get something to eat. I change to emptying dishwasher and he starts helping. If I wasn't in the kitchen already, it would be great for him to empty it, but he's in my way now. And his second breakfast is still on the counter. And just now, getting something to thaw for our supper out of the freezer - he wants to know who to write the tax check to. No wonder I have issues with focus.

Yes, anti procrastination too, Nancy. Need to do some garage work - already gathered up the glass to recycle, not in my car yet but bagged to go and the bin is in kitchen sink to clean up a bit.

Tax return is filed, check written, and scanned, and ready to mail at post office. I feel like a broken record when I think of OMM:
-tomatoes into ground
-ferns fixed up on front porch (repot, adjust risers to correct height)
-wreath fixins

lots of bright sunlight pouring through the east windows - Cathy

Woke up to a different world today. The sun is outrageous, and HRH adjusted brightness of computer screen for me. Colors are not making up their minds. Rose pink as seen by the right eye is hot pink as seen by the left now. As I walked along hallway toward main part of house this a.m., it dawned on me to do it without glasses and covering right eye. Coming out of hallway, I could see the whole kitchen, a room away, very crisply and the shelves in the mudroom beyond, every individual can.

HRH has held up things for me to read with left eye, and I'm not too bad at it, which is good when considered as better vision, but absolutely strange remembering that I'm not supposed to be able to see what I look at with left eye. I always see just above what I'm looking at, and then it disappears in a split second as I focus. So vision has been there, just not much good for the time it takes to read. Now, I evidently am seeing so much more clearly in that space that I have time for eye-to-brain communication. I hope that part lasts. But the hot pink... .. hmmm...

Have helped with putting away groceries. Otherwise, I am policed. He wants me in front of the tv, which is approved by the paper he was given. Better BBL and stop reading. Glasses help one eye, hinder the other, and the other is the one recuperating, so, rest is best.

Ya'll have a great day, spent well.

I just went outside to take out the garbage and there wasn't a single cloud in the sky!! Too bad it's too windy to burn branches and cardboard.

Bathroom is clean and the bed is made. We don't normally "make" the bed. The youngest cat loves to help, she thinks that all sheets and blankets need to be bitten and shown how fast her back feet are. Cat lovers call this "bunny feet" because they are going so fast. Now she is laying on top of the top blanket worn out from "helping" me.

I tend to leave the room when dh comes in. When he's done I go back in and carry on. He tends to stand and watch me do all the work.

I have sprayed some Febreeze Gain around the house. I just discovered this scent. It matches my laundry soap. I love going outside and then coming back in to this smell. It's like I just did a load of laundry! I might have to get 2 or 4 more bottles. I also mopped bathroom and hallway with OdoBan added to the mop water.

Dishwasher has the dirty dishes inside. Washing machine is holding the dirty laundry and the dryer is empty.

Sheesh... I thought today was going to be an easy day. Now I'm off to the store to buy a package of spaghetti.
