Today's date does contain, in U.S., a certain kind of writing deadline, just in case anyone needs a reminder for post or for extension, etc.

I somehow awakened quietly before 6 without any reminder or help and ... sneaked ... away to open the screen door for grocery delivery. Got lights on around the house to assure delivery person and caution any varmints, lol. Nice to be able to exchange a cheery "good morning" with someone so early.

So, HRH actually slept in beyond the time he had planned and I'm glad. He's never happy when he finds out I brought in so much on my own, but I got away with it. I leave the bottled and canned items that don't need the fridge - still lifting with restrictions.

Today I want to mop some floors - bathroom and then the different cleaner for hall.

Next up
Sweep kitchen
get some breakfast into me

Thank you for starting us off today Harriet!!

I am taking most of the day "off". I am meeting a friend for lunch at a mall an hour away. Just for a change of scenery. Dh said he will go grab a burger for lunch. He has 2 different men coming over. One is bringing his winter tires here. Another is coming over to either take his tires away because dh can't find anyone who wants to buy them, or he will pay for storage. I'm sort of confused but dh wasn't very clear because this guy bounces his excuses around like ping pong balls... he's tiring to listen to. Kind of hyper, lots of redirection in conversations. I'm glad I won't be here.

I do have to clean the litter boxes before I leave for my day away. Dh also said we could go grab subs for supper. They are very filling.

Good morning

My day is off to a smooth start. Both teens awakened and launched without any problems. 32 minute walk accomplished before taking DD14 to school. I rewarded my effort with relaxing break and a cup of coffee.

Yes, it is tax day. I admit to not calling CPA like I intended. He called me while we were in the hospital to ask if I wanted him to file an extension. Yes. Please. We always get a refund, so I'll let the government use my money interest free for a little bit longer.

Today my focus is on a different yearly requirement. The plumbers are coming to do yearly maintenance on water softener and reverse osmosis systems. It usually takes a couple hours for them to change all the filters and run the systems through the regen process.

DH was up around 3am according to the cameras. He took a bath and got fully dressed. I woke up around 5am to find him sitting in his recliner. I told him it wasn't time to get up yet and he needed to sleep some more. He returned to bed and slept until after 8am. I'm calling our family doctor for appt to discuss how to best take care of DH.

I got up on time yea! 5:15
did some journaling & drawing as per new class this is a fun way to track stuff.
I've put quite a bit of stuff off over the cold winter months; and was unwell with colds so...
I've begun an anti P. challenge to do 3 things a day I've been putting off and gotten some great progress.
Thinks like scheduling appt. for doggo next mo for update on vaccines.
Logged progress on my weeding with drawing the bags of weeds.
Sure makes journaling way more fun and interesting!

I hope to get to the vacuuming later on today as we have rain I the forecast.
79* it the hi. temp. Fri. so I'm looking forward to that.
Snow in the forecast in the mtns. around us the next 24 hrs. not liking the colder temps.
So glad I did not get tender plants to put out!
s2s happened hair is dry now too.

Waving to everyone!

Up and about here. Dh has gone off to the dentist, and I have my dental appointment at 3:30 for the crown. I have no idea what to expect, honestly. Otherwise the day is open. Not sure how long before I can eat tonight - whether to plan dinner, or plan dinner out, or not at all.

I was feeling pretty chipper earlier when I wrote this, I'm struggling now with getting the roomba going and I'm aggravated. Seems it didn't charge when I put it back on the base last time and now has to be reconnected and battery is too low to run and I also cleaned the little connection things with the magic eraser and now I'm hoping it's charging up. Just before, it wasn't charging, went dead again, and I did that whole thing again.

Good morning! DC dropped at school. I was hoping to have them drive, but they were still eating their breakfast. Maybe they will drive home after play practice, but likely not, as it will probably be DH picking them up in his car. Which reminds me that DH has Scouts tonight, so I should figure out something quick for dinner. I meant to get a crockpot going, but it's too late now. (On regular weeknights, we eat about 6:30, which is when he needs to be changed and out of the house on Scout nights.)

Noticed viburnum blooming by the drugstore, and our lilacs are starting to open nearly a month early.

This morning's start makes me think of blessed and hope that all is well with the construction and with her DM.

Thank you for the reminder, Harriet -- must text DH and make sure he has mailed city taxes. Federal and state were filed electronically. DH got an additional refund check -- DBIL in London mailed DH his US refund check, which was under $10 and definitely not worth whatever rigmarole it would take to get deposited there. DH says he will use it to get a nicer grade of Scotch when he goes out with the guys, and DBIL heartily approves.

Enjoy your lunch, Cathy!

I do think you had other things on your mind besides calling the CPA, LadyM. I'm very glad he called you.

Look at Nancy, doing us one better on anti-procrastination day to make it anti-procrastination every day!

Wish I could tell you what to expect with the crown, Twins. It's never been a big deal for me, but DH was sore after his. Hopefully, it's the former.

Oh! Remembered lucylee was having trouble getting Metamucil down. It thickens up as it sits, so the sooner and quicker you drink it the better. Otherwise, yeah, it does have the tendency to turn into sludge.

Nothing in particular on my agenda for today, although I do have a nutritionist appointment tomorrow that I should do the pre-check-in for. Next up here should be contacting DH. Not sure whether to plan dinner before or after having lunch; before, probably, to make sure I will get all my requirements for the day. Have a great day, everyone!

Dh used to do his metamucil in a smoothie after his gastric bypass surgery.

Believe me, I’m drinking fast! About half a juice glass and I try to gulp it down in two swallows!

At the doctor’s office for regular visit, so he will keep my prescriptions updated.
Just got out of yoga.
Need to do some WHB when I get home.

The very worst part of getting a crown is while they are making impressions. You have to sit with this wax stuff on that side of your mouth. I have a quick gag reflex so this part is hard for me. Last time I played games on my phone to keep myself distracted. Of course, before that, they may drill a bit if there’s a cavity or something. Then after the impressions are complete, they put a temporary crown on and make you bite up and down on some carbon paper to make sure it’s a good fit.
About a week later, you get the final crown and they don’t numb you or anything — just pop the temp off and the permanent one on. Bite, adjust, bite, adjust, and you’re through.
