A consistently clean home is within reach! It's not that we need to clean everything suddenly it's just that we need to clean some consistently throughout the year we know that. Focus gives us one already-complete plan for a rotation to keep us on track and keep each lovely area from neglect. We don't have to re-invent the wheel, just roll along with the one we have at the ready, a week at a time.
Here's a space to chat about our first rounds through our homes, which will be from Monday, Dec 31 through the week of Monday, March 11. Eleven rooms/areas for eleven weeks. Change the room or area names around to suit your home, record them in personal record-keeping if you want, in whatever form you'd like, and let's go through the house once!

Today I made up the tracking cards for my Focus Cleaning for our first round. Those are filed and waiting in my card file. I'm back to the fill-in bubbles for this, a month on a card, which worked well in the past.
I added "hall and stairs" in February to the "outdoors" week, in case I can't even get outside much then. The staircase could use some attention.
Cleaning supplies I want to buy:
new spray cleaner for carpet/upholstery
extendable Swiffer duster handle
Btw, about extending my reach, I had bought an extendable tub and tile scrubber and I'm pleased with it, helping me clean the tub surrounds more easily. This one is by OXO.
Very happy with cleaning of the bathrooms this week so far. I don't know what I'd do right now without Ly sol wipes. They help a lot. I expect to do more for front bathroom tomorrow.
