Signed up for my diet bet, it starts tomorrow.
Printed out sheets to track weight, steps and body measurements. Also did my meal planning for the week. Checked out several online exercise programs plus some real life ones close to me. I want to start walking like I have in the past, but don't know if its cool enough to do in the early mornings or whether I need to do them on a treadmill. Time will tell.

I just made my 50K steps for the week - second week in a row. Thanks to eating out so much, I can't say my weight has reflected the additional movement, but it's all good.

RRose, that sounds so ambitious. I would be in traction at the very least... but good luck to you!
No LadyM, you are not at the end of the line...I observed something in the mirror this morning that was shocking
so I hold that place right now for sure. Sigh...
I am trying again. Something's gotta happen around here.

Well I'm with you Harmony...Got on the scale and it wasn't pretty. I'm just gonna eat this elephant one bite at a time. I'm 4 lbs away from my first goal..just going to work my plan at every 5 marker... like 145, 140, 135...I was successful doing that the last time I buckled down and got serious.
Need to jump back on my gazelle so I can meet my daily goal. Phone pedometer says 4,703 steps already, fitbit says 4,254 and my gazelle says i've walked 1.4 miles which is 3360 steps. Course I'm not zooming away on my Gazelle all day either.

Day 2
Down 3.2 lbs I’m surprised but guess it’s just water.
Gonna use data of Fitbit to stay consistent
Steps: 8400. Was going to get to 10k but migraine got in the way.
Mikes: 3.54
Trading starts this morning.

Day 3
Worked out with my trainer. He had me roll on a roller to stretch my muscles. My back could handle it cause they are so tight that it set off some spasms along my side. Still hurts but better this morning.
I have homework. Must set goals for 3,6 and 12 months, plus answer my three “Whys” for the reason I’m doing this
Must produce my eating plan for Jason to approve and then show him my daily eating log for each day.
Also measured and weighed me. Will turn in my weight once a week.
Daily goals include my water intake and my steps
Yesterday steps 10971
Miles 4.56 miles
Down another pound and met my first goal

WTG, RR!
Just finished a longer walk than I've taken in months. I'm feeling 'determined' this morning. The walk was about 2,300 steps and it was really more than I can handle yet. I'll try a shorter one later on today. I know I need to get my steps up nearer the 7k mark and more later on -I so need to get this weight off. Both for how I feel and my heart/diabetes health. I'm also tracking my caloric intake/output and hoping that increases.
