March, 2023 Clutter Control - Breeze through the rooms

Post by Harriet »

Like March winds sweep through and make a change, we can breeze through our homes and freshen up in different directions. Decluttering doesn't have to be stuck in any one area until it's finished. Take a breather and whoosh over to another room for a mental break.

What area in your home do you suspect is s-t-a-g-n-a-n-t and in need of a ~~~~ breeze ~~~~ that sweeps some clutter out, some organization in?

Round Robins work for decluttering, too. In each room, what is bothering you most? Could you benefit from just a brief time in each to get some spots off your mind?

Let us know how your declutter days are breezing along!

I need to treat the drains again for a fresh smell.

I have dropped off a stack of books for the sale at the library this month.
Yea for that! It feels very freeting.

CI while lunch is is the oven. I have worked on the shed decluttering it and let em know at church about the wheel chair I am letting go of small light weight one for child or small adult. Ast. pastor is a bus driver at the school so said that might be handy.

I have been working on the plant cage and it is looking better.

Found boxes I can let go of!

Still letting folks know of the wheel chair.
I rolled it close to the door of the shed.
I worked on one back corner of the shed and took one tote of camping gear to the coup that I have been cleaning out and the fishing poles.
So the back is way better now yea! Bit by bit I am getting stuff out of there that I am no using. So it is better. I will do another round and that will help. I am hoping to sort stuff not for my creative endeavors can go in there.

The library has a check out fish poles thing but I hope not to have to deliver the stuff.
Thinking of putting a free sign and putting em by a fishing spot. Done.
LOL!

Even small progress is still progress yea me.

Made FREE sign for items by the road.
Fish poles and pedal bike left and I did not have to load or haul em off! yea!!

Tossed a broken bucket.

We are beginning the 2nd rotation through the house for Focus Cleaning. So, "Bedroom" is up next again for my decluttering, then, as I continue to do the week ahead of cleaning. I have really appreciated clear-ish space in there for taking photos of quilt tops in portions on the bed, some almost complete. You have to be able to scoot all around the bed efficiently to get that done.

Still, it's amazing how much clutter can creep in after just a matter of weeks, really, since the last attention. I actually have two chairs in there (also a matter of clutter, perhaps?) and BOTH of them are full of stuff. Good grief.

I have been cleaning up the yard the neighbors have a gal that is doing yard cleaning up and took some wood odds and ends she is building a chicken coop. I had doors from the other neighbors coop they tore out she was happy to get them. I had a wooden lug for fruit that can be a next box too. She has a green house and took some pots and planters I was going to let go of as well Yea for decluttering success and getting steps in too. I am pleased I do not have to move that wood again! The shed has even less stuff in it now Hu Raa!!!.
Plus a couple more small section of wooden fencing,
------
Today I have more decluttering accomplished
boards the same gal said she would take off my hands are out of the back yard and I got
them hauled up to the area for pick up. Just a few but helped with me getting my step.
Some other items also have been added to the mix. Yea!
