LadyM … that’s terrific! I am doing the same between 1200-1400 alternating days.
Wednesday was ice cream day.. I promised myself I could have ice cream once a month. Turned out to be a wonderful decision because not only did I get to eat delish ice cream, but Sweetie and I sat and talked for almost 3 hours. That is a win for me because I have no idea how long these moment with him will last.
Yesterday I made my calorie limit, but didn’t get all my water or steps in because I spent most of the afternoon in a dentists chair and have to go back on Monday.
Today I have a birthday lunches and have adjusted my food the best that I can.
Been to my class and already have 4K steps and am working on my water as I fold my laundry.

Mon. I am glad I stayed up at 4 when ddoggo wanted out to pee.
Got my QT stuff done and showered we walked before the T-stoms rolled in this morning.
Tues. Got my steps in 3k. on smokey days is enough.
Wed. We have walked. Got my steps in.
Thurs. Walked felt off cut back on meat it's smokey out.
Fri. Walked feeling better yea that helps.
Sat. Walked got my steps in before ten a. m.
Sun. " saw a squirrel with a green walnut, doe & twin fawns, & der by car got vids. of all three!

Boredom is an enemy of mine. I want to shake things up and do amazing, wonderful, and exciting things.
Taking care of basic health isn't exciting or hard to do. However, they do have to be repeatedly done.
The benefits may not show up immediately, but they build upon each other.
Boring health can be a good thing! It is much preferred to health being in crisis because the boring things were not done.
Reminding myself to not quit doing boring things. I need to make friends with boredom

Yesterday I ate about 1000 calories, including an Atkin pizza 330 calories, got in6 k steps and drank 40 ozs of water, 24 ozs of coffee, 12 ozs of ice tea and a can of diet soda and I’m down 2lbs … go figure!

New week
8-12 Mon. Walked talked with a neighbor 1/2 hr.
Tues. Thunder & lightening followed by rains so no early morning walk maybe later on. Rain stopped mid morning and then we walked.
Wed. Walk short one with ddoggo, shopping got my steps in doing that today. Got 10 K. steps in.
Th. walked got my steps goal met.
Fri. walked got my steps in by ten a/m.

Yesterday I ate 1366 calories which was all single ingredient clean eating (meat, vegetable, and fruit). This morning the scales said that I gained 2.8 lbs. Go figure!
My daily weight goes up and down without reason. I continue to weigh daily to collect the data, but I try to keep my focus on the weekly and monthly average so I don't go bonkers trying to make sense of the daily variance.

Sleep - 7hr 30 min I went to bed later than normal and then I slept hard. I slept through the alarm to wake the kids for school. Eeek! I woke up 10 minutes before time to take DD13 to school. Thankfully she made it on time.

WTG girls…
My hiatial hernia has decided to raise its ugly head. Don’t know why now, but I need to deal with it without meds.
Yesterday I ate some yogurt, two wasa crackers and a half of apple. For some reason the apple set it off. I was in awful pain so had to take some meds for that, along with two biscuits. White bread is something that calms my stomach down…drinking anything including water stirs every thing up
So…
This morning I ate yogurt and lasted two biscuits and so far everything has remained calm. I have a slight headache I am dealing with, but can’t take meds for that because it can set my stomach off. So I need to be very careful with what I eat for the next few days. Yogurt and some bone broth will be on my menu
