I've been working on the little chair for my dolls house this evening. The stain just didn't look right, so I've sanded it right back to the wood, as far as I can. It now definitely looks "vintage", but in a much better way, and the colour now compliments the other colours in the room. Its now soaking in a coat of beeswax polish - I'll give it a good rub with my soft cloth before I go to bed, and then do more coats tomorrow, so eventually I should end up with a soft sheen to the wood.

Today I ripped out project fail after trying to rescue it some how.
I did not like the feel of it but did a sample of crochet and it is fine with that.
Did like the sample on smaller needles so there is hope.

Finished up a bright yellow dish cloth fun for this spring season.

Got mustard colored fabric with bones print on it thinking I can do up
lots of dog treats bags. Maybe even a blanket.

Finally got batting for the Cmas vest new goal is to get it done by July
Cmas in July I will wear it if I get it done!

The other fabric is blue with leopard print some black with random bright spots.
Undecided on that one. Prewashed these.

I did work on some of the hot pad I've been working up.
I can put completed ones where I had yarn before.

Prayer shawl or nursing mom wrap from one.
They are self striping.

Added to my life time supply of yarn. Two batches of color one in greens the other in purple & blue.
I'm excited about these.

I got another yellow dish cloth done.
I worked quite a bit on the prayer shawl and was glad I got that much done. Got the the next color on it. yea!
Worked on the hot pads and found a boo boo and had to rip out 3 rows sigh oh well.
Redid that again wa hoo! I am with in 5 rows of finishing this one! Got it completed yea!
Working up a lavender colored prayer shawl currently.

Goal open batting for lining on Cmas Vest.
Lay it out also the lining cut those layers out
Pin and work on seaming it up.

Well I didn't get very far on this list yet. I just rescued my crochet as it was sitting on the couch all weekend with company. I could have finished it but just didn't. No excuses... I have 5 more rows. I'll work on it some today.

And I finally finished the painting in ds room. With dd and dsil here all of the clutter from ds 26 is now in my craft room. But it can go back in dd room and I can set up the sewing desk. Put up shelves and store my crafts. I should list that too since it's progress to being able to use it effectively.

Move rest to guest room
Put up shelving rails
Store yarn and craft drawer sets in place
Decide if I like the layout
Paint ds shelf for his room
Mount it
Put up curtain rod in ds room


Mend and repair

Hem dh new work pants
Fix buttons on a couple of shirts
Fix buttons on ds pants
Fix my dog walk jacket
Fix side seam of ds too small winter jacket that would be good for donation
Fix the lace loop on my new shoe or return them?
