Morning y’all…

Mark, my contractor and the cabinet maker will be here today. Not sure what all they will be doing but at least work is getting done.

We had major thunderstorms and lightning with rain last night and it’s gonna be the same off and on all day. We really need the rain. However, my granddaughters kindergarten graduation is this afternoon and I’m not sure whether we’re gonna be able to make it or not between the rain, storms, and the work going on at the house.

I am so over all of this. The only reason is, I can’t find things that I had to put up plus trying to eat around all of this is a challenge. We went out again last night to eat at our favorite fast food because I can get my Unboned hamburger there. Good thing sweetie likes eat there too.

Figure most of the work should be done by the end of the week. Let’s hope so.

Waving to y’all .. I have towels in the dryer that are waiting to be folded. I might even try to squeeze in a haircut sometime this morning, but we’ll see. Be back later. Enjoy your day.

Hi!

Dishwasher got emptied and refilled. I will turn it on later.

RRose I need to know what an unboned hamburger is. Is it a veggie burger?

It's sunny and windy here today. I'm headed to Monday morning fibre group.

Twins - Thank you for the start today.

I'm going through my SHE cards one at a time making sure the must-do's get the attention they need.

TADA's -
** Personal grooming - shower, hair, face, teeth
** AM walk
** Kitchen set up for the day as best as I can. Drinks prepared for the day. Breakfast cooked for DH (biscuits, hashbrowns, hot links). Pulled some meat out of the freezer to thaw for today. I really really REALLY miss my rolling food prep system where I could keep a variety of meals ready to eat. As soon as I get a working refrigerator, I will be restarting that method of cooking & feeding everyone.
** Updated my spreadsheet and posted in H&F thread
** Finalized May results and posted in Raised Bed gardening thread.
** Posted Day #1 results in Tidy, Sort & Declutter thread

I have a list of things that I would like to accomplish today. I don't like the pressure I am feeling to get that much done. Why do I have them all listed to be done today?

I have a workout this afternoon, and this evening, the HOA annual meeting. I'm dreading the meeting TBH and will be glad when it's done and over. I feel bad that guy who is prez hasn't publicized that we're proposing a large increase in HOA dues and I don't like confrontation or being on the spot as treasurer. And I need to present treasurer's report.

Prez of HOA came up with idea late last week of grilling burgers and dogs and serving so families don't have to cook dinner, since meeting is at six p.m. I have not offered to help - I have enough to do as treasurer and need others to step up. But it's always a man who comes up with the idea and doesn't understand how much work goes into it. I think we need to ask the social committee if they will take it on the food as one of their events in the future.

Dh went on to work as usual, he said he expects to be home "after lunch." He's having a hard time with the concept of not being there every day all the time. The letter to clients said he's turning over the day to day management to his successors.

I'll be out this afternoon, at least for my workout and to go by the drugstore. Need to pick up a script and inquire about another...why are they asking my doc for refills when it says online I have another refill now?

LadyM, most of my weeklies come up on Monday but I know I have to the end of the week to check them off. Same with monthlies.

I will give an update on the dog situation it has improved greatly yea! We have been working on training them to not do that fence barking.
It is going well and different methods are helping. It is good that they have a training person or relative with dogs that are helping to show
the littlest one good behavior. It is so much more peaceful now I can work in my garden with out being barked at yea!

I was up later and "slept in" till 6:30 so happy for that reset. It's hard to stay away all day when I've gotten up way early like 4:00 a.m.
So that helped.

I have journaled today mostly about the process of dog training experience.
Did my basement walk about. Made a note to three anti p. things I want to pay attn. to soon.
I put what Vits. I'm taking in H & F thread.

I have not made out my to do's that pages is not filled out yet.
-----
Mid. morning CI / My lunch is thawing.
Spiffed mor eon the kit.
Got clean sheets on the bed.
Walked. Got a vid. of a deer for yt.
Hydrating now.

Okay back to my journals.
Lunch happened. Figured out dinner Beef day hb patty & veg. .
Vacuumed bedrooms.
Knitted a section.
Sheets in the dryer now.
Done to here.

Waving to everyone!

TADA's -
** 20 SHE cards completed
** three items off my to-do list. Called an made eye appt for me. Monthly cash from bank and distributed. Odyssey title/tag/excise tax taken care of at tag agency. We had a 2 week wait for the papers to arrive from dealership so we could do this step. Now we are waiting for the title to be mailed to us from the state. After receiving that final piece of paper and getting it into our filing system, then I can declare the vehicle purchase process complete. IMHO, it is nuts that it takes a month to process vehicle papers. Our government process moves at the speed of snails

I have agreed to open a bank account with DS16 and we have made plans to do it this afternoon. Life lessons has taught me to not have it in the same bank as our account. We use a local owned bank but I am encouraging DS16 to get an account in a bank that is nation wide so he can have access to brick & mortar buildings no matter where he chooses to live.
