I'm arriving in PWYC later than normal. I have been here & there in the SHE village this morning but am slow to visit all the favorite & interesting hang-outs. :)

Family interaction has been more than usual today. DS16 attitude needed an adjustment so that happened. DD14 is making plans to meet a friend and needs me to do the organizing. DH requested a trip to get more gas for the weed eater so I took him for that errand. While we were out and about, we stopped at the bank to do the monthly cash task.

51 cards were completed today so far.
One thing....then another....then another and before i know it the day is half over.

I've gotten in some good research time today and found some important records. I correlated the locations of two guys, reputed to be father and son. Father's locations were in Rev War pension affidavit and the reputed son matches up fairly well. Also found a 1793 deed in SC (Never researched there!) that points to the land that the older of the two inherited from his father, and the source of the other land sold in 1793. Gratifying find because it proves the father, the sale correlates with move to NC, it proves the given name of the wife and that she was alive in 1793, about one year before the reputed son was born!

Dh has gone to his bowling meeting, he walked dMillie in the heat a little earlier. We're getting a heavy rain for the moment but probably won't last long. We have a heat advisory for tomorrow too.

Nothing on my calendar for tomorrow. It's nice to be a slug. I'll have to pick up the pace at end of week, we're going away next Tuesday. Decided against trip to St. Thomas in October. I think my travel tolerance will be sitting on empty by then. We want to see dd in Nov or Dec or Jan too.

I didn't get in a lot of Ta Da's today.
DGD's team was undefeated through the three games of the tournament and won the county championship. Afterwards, the coach took them to local ice cream shop, and then I took DGD to steakhouse to celebrate. It was a good night. DGD is just getting started; she was still a little timid about hitting the ball, but she has learned a lot, and maybe next year she'll get another good coach.
My Dcousin came to the game -- not just for us -- she is very close friends with the coach and her family, along with several other team parents -- but she sat with us and she and I talked a lot.
Someone sitting down the row from us had a tiny little pet MONKEY in a cage! That certainly was not something I expected to see. The kids who sat around us were so excited with it, but I kept thinking, "WHO brings a MONKEY to a volleyball game???" I halfway hoped it would get loose and we'd have a new version of Ray Stephens' song about when the squirrel went berserk in the church, LOL!!!

Texted with dfriend -- she is still in a holding pattern, trying to have a quiet night. They are having trouble stabilizing her heart rate for MRI.
Tomorrow is another day.
