It has been a strange weather day. The temperature has dropped by at least 25 degrees and the humidity has dropped significantly as well. It has misted all day…. Sort of like walking through a cloud for most of the day. I am enjoying the cooler temperatures!

Hi, all. I am back from my errands. I am taking a break before I take Germane out for her walk. I have a suspicion that I may have spent all of my discretionary budget for the month on the first day of the month. Of course, I knew that I wasn't going to be trying to live on the pension. Just as well, LOL.

Hi, Peaches.

Hi, L.Ann. I hope that everything went well at the doctor's. It must be such a relief to have both the temperature and the humidity drop.

Friday
Cleaned up after Germane X 3
Threaded the polka dot plant through the support
Set up small drying rack
Hung the delicates and laundry bags
Removed bread from breadmaker to cool
Moved dishes from dw to drying racks
Put away dw cart
Put away dry dishes
Washed a few basinsful of dishes
Wiped down breadmaker
Loaded dw to run later
Showered/washed hair
Went to animal hospital for get Apoquel and food for Germane
Went to the closest bank: no way to deposit at the ATM
Went to Reitmans to shop the end of season sale. Did not find jean or bra, but did find a pair of shorts that will be perfect inside the apartment on hot days
Went to the pharmacy to pick up Ibuprofen and milk. Bought everything in the store.
Put away the cold groceries

Germane has had her walk, and I'm just going to cut up a pill for her and call it a night. Good night!

CL, Whidbey Island is in a beautiful area. I'm sure you will find some lovely and interesting things to do.
g'night doggedly

I just completed 3 hours of cont ed via computer. It's a new way to learn for this "old lady." Not sure about my retention long term, but I did enough to get the certificate, which is what I need for partial requirement to renew my license. So far I've found free things. This makes 9 of 24 needed by October.
Relatives came to day to visit mother and me. We went to Red Lobster and enjoyed visiting. These were 2 cousins, 1 wife came too, children of my mother's next older sister. Mother is the only person living from her generation. I love all my cousins. They are all great people! (I might be prejudiced)
