Hmmm, how long since I have posted?
County fair on Friday - Mother had a WONDERFUL time - fest she has had for quite a hwile! She was absolutely eshausted when we got back to the NH, and went to bed wihtout a fuss (for a change)
Saturday mroning was a funeral, and I think she was so tired she didn't even know whose funeral it was. My college roommate and her hubby came, plus their son who drove, as they were clsoe friends with the person who died. He was a brother to their pastor years ago.
When I took mother back after the lunch, I got her clothes changed and got her into bed. The aide siad she was asleep almost before I left the room! I did not take her to church today, so she could sleep in. She either was up and about, or she was asleep today as she didn't answer her phone in he rroom until after 7pm.
My roomie brought some corn from their garder - It was the sweetest, most tender corn I have had - maybe ever? - I ate 1 ear and brought the other to Mother. She was between derroling an purring, she enjoyed it so much!
saturdya night supper with MrVKM was nice - we had much to talk about since it had been months and months since I had seen him. We enjoyed the visit.
I had a really good night sleep, plus a nice rest Saturday afternoon before going to supper.
And I think I will sleep well tonight. I have a list of 6 phone calls to start my Monday with.

oh , since we have moved to shesorganized from the sheforums, some don' t know: MrVKM is Mr Very Kind Man, whom I have been seeing off and on for I guess it's now about a few years. His wife died, my dh died. We met some years after that. We have done some fun things together.
I don't have room in my life right now for romance tho, so don't go there wondering!

Buy pill organizer for Germane
Bring box of pee pads to donate back from the basement–done

Decluttering: move “Not Now’ items to boxes to basement–in progress
Decluttering: check boxes in locker and discard the not needed

Check govt web site for Record Of Employment–done
Contact old employer for information on final pay cheque–probably do not need to do, as ROE has the information
FACE Finances: work on retirement budget: start going through bank statements
Run the dw
Find FixIt stick
Run it on my computer
Start looking into plans for next visit to db
