The worst part of my weekend was finidng a dead mouse in mother's attic. My son would have just told me to deal with it, so I didn't call him. But I would gladly have given that job to anyone else! It was a couple days old..... yeeew!

TADAs so far onMonday morning
6 phone calls to schedule various appointments for
CAR
MOTHER
dfBS
order flowers for mother - Thursday will be her 79! wedding anniversary!
A friend's book club that is reading The Frozen River, the leader wants me to share my perspective and knowledge of midwifery history.
still need to
schedule1 more appoinment for dfBS,
and call new internet company to figure out how to deal with their website for making payment
contact local weekly paper that is supposed to be delivered by mail on Thursday. It wasn't in today's mail either.

Interesting about the "invention" of velcro! Great hint for using lice/flea compb to remove the hair and lint that get stuck in it
trissie, Do you feel safe letting DBD bike by herself? Are the route and playground safe?
L.ann, looks like good menus! financial and legal issues can be overwhelming. Good for you to be keeping up with knee wellbeing
Laurlind, I hope you are successful at appointments for massage, and hair. That will feel so good!
helian, one dog with the zoomies and the other one watching - must have been been laughable for the people to watch!

Now, I need to get dressed! it's NOON already....
TODOs
empty dehunifiers in my basement
wash car - by hand or go to car wash
consider powerwashing my deck and starting same on my very dirty driveway and sidewalk
load dw
lol, 1 or 2, for mother
exercise class - start upagain, but I don't remember the time.
check on lobrary hours to renew a book.
community supper, bring supper to dfBS
Visit mother

hmmm, that looks like a pretty long list! Ibetter goet moving! ((((all of you ))))

You've gotten a lot of phone calls/ coordinating done, Gma. Ew on the dead mouse - but it's good you found it and got rid of it.

Hi, all. I have CUOP'd but I am just going to jump in here and not give into the temptation to glue myself to the chair and give individual responses.
I have made a start, and am ready to sit down and have some lunch. My breakfast rice and veg was so heavy on the veg that it hasn't stayed with me.

Monday
Put away dry dishes
Cleaned air fryer and inserts
Put away some of the groceries
Put away dish drainer
Set up new list for the week
Transferred end of loaf to small container for the fridge
Scrubbed out sink and basin
Discarded old potatoes
Washed insert for air fryer, potato bin and big canister
Washed some dishes
Put more in to soak

I had a go at updating my goals:
Goals
Short Term
Anti heartworm pill for Germane
Arrange next OAS dinner
FACE Finances: track spending
Buy pill organizer for Germane
Contact the rescue to see if they still want the pee pads and food

Decluttering: go through To Go Through boxes to declutter
Decluttering: move “Not Now’ items to boxes to basement
Decluttering: check boxes in locker and discard the not needed

Compare payments to ROE and screenshots of hours
Contact old employer for information on final pay cheque–probably do not need to do, as ROE has the information
FACE Finances: work on retirement budget: start going through bank statements
Run the dw
Find FixIt stick
Run it on my computer
Book plans for next visit to db

Goals
Long Term
Start contacting friends about getting together for dinner–in progress: one dinner accomplished
Play with new window washing gadget.
Tidy top of fridge
Get watch strap fixed

☀️🥳 Good afternoon! Is there anyone in a time zone later than mine? It’s after 1:00pm here as I post.

Thanks for the start and education, trissie. Too bad de Mestrel didn’t come up with something more practical, like how to annihilate sandspurs (as we call them here, I’m guessing they’re the same thing but idk). Velcro is universally appreciated I’m sure. Convenient although with pets it can create more problems with fur collection. Live comb is a good tip. Where was that 20 years ago lol.

Kittykatt, I would like to appreciate the plasterer arriving so early to work but it’s hard when I’m not a morning person. :P

Harriet, hope you feel better. I’ve stuck my fingers on many a burr.

Helia, I enjoy hearing the variety in your days, from socializing to “solitude” of a sort.

LAnn, mmm to turkey burgers and melon.

Wtg, Laura. Massage sounds nice.

Gma, sounds like your mom enjoyed her Sunday. Thanks for catching us up on your friend.

Doggedly, I would prefer you sit and chat with me but I suppose that wouldn’t help either of us complete the goal of why we actually post here.

I was up early, believe it or not, accomplished some things, sat to read a Bible chapter and never got back up, somehow I ended up playing my game and scrolling social media. Time to get back at it for an hour or so and then I can guilt free take a break for a late lunch.

✔️Round 1:
Weigh
Bible
Spot clean floors
Scoop litter
Feed pets
Brushed Lily
Light breakfast - banana, coffee
Call vfd Uriah
Rotate laundry
Charge phone
Thaw steaks for supper

Round 2:
Dust
Vacuum
Mop
Rotate laundry
♥ Wake each day expecting good things to happen! ♥
