I have cleaned up after Germane. She managed to make it an epic undertaking, rather than a simple task. It's still hot out, but at least the sun is going down so I will take her for her walk now.

This is what I love about my neighbourhood. Lots of people out, doing their shopping or coming home from retaurants, and nice little line in front of the food truck. A healthy neighbourhood.

I guess I didn't post after my morning post.

I really need to go to bed. I'm ready enough for class tomorrow. I'm getting together with K and S2 at a fav outdoor coffee shop at 9:30 a.m. J will stop by a little later. I'll have to leave at 10:30 to go to work and should be back home by 1:30.

Transferred end of loaf to small container for the fridge
Scrubbed out sink and basin
Discarded old potatoes
Washed insert for air fryer, potato bin and big canister
Washed some dishes
Put more in to soak
Set up air fryer and started pizza
Found that it would not turn on
Tried both outlets, tried the coffee maker on same plug
Found the tripped fuse and reset it
Turned off air conditioner
Started pizza cooking
Cleaned up after dog
Gave dog Benedryl
Spiffed self
Found pizza cooked, but not really browned
Checked the fuse and reset it
Cleaned up after dog
Put the pizza on for another 5 minutes
Cleaned up after dog
Cleaned table
Put away air fryer
Gave Germane her anti heartworm pill
Walked Germane
Messaged friend about getting together for dinner
Messaged dog rescue about donating food and pee pads. They are also open to receiving other dog supplies, so that will be the focus of my decluttering until Thursday.
Got some of the vegetables into proper fridge containers.

You don’t need your dog supplies, doggedly? Hope Germane is well. Regarding stores and pharmacies, we have options within about 20 miles in any direction but try to keep it local when we can. We knew that it would be a drive to go anywhere when we moved here so no complaints. When we went to see William Shatner we had our photo taken with him. I ordered the print. I used to play hooky from school because I wouldn’t be home in time to catch Star Trek on weekdays. If it was a two parter I’d have to fake illness for a whole 48 hours. I think this was elementary school. Thank goodness for recording shows these days lol. Wtg on that list! Your neighborhood sounds very pleasant. Food trucks are the best, aren’t they? During Covid our area tried to arrange a different one to come out weekly to change things up a little safely. I really enjoyed it.

Helia, I picture you in Boston or thereabouts…I think I get you mixed up with Robin who used to post. Idk why. Trying to set Michigan in my head now. Is it getting fall like there yet? I’m so ready for milder temps and less mowing! Our mower keeps acting up.

So I went to my bedroom for a zoom call book club meeting and fell asleep. I’m not on camera or anything like that. Woke at 11:30 wide awake thinking it was almost dawn and don’t know what to do with myself. I hear the cats playing in the main rooms so who knows what I’ll find when I get up. For now I’m trying to get sleepy again…
