Well I am being completely lazy. I should go walk my dog. I was going to be busy cleaning. Laundry need switching . Put the rest of the groceries away. I did pick berries. Oh and I called and left message to book massage and hair appointment.

It's not warm outside though. Ok when the sun is out but it looks like it could rain any time.

Ds decided to see if he could figure out how to inject flavor in a whole chicken so that is in the oven already. I was going to vacuum....

I took Germane for a walk in the park. She hadn't walked 10 feet before she picked up burrs. I think that I have got them all out. I hope so. If not, the groomer will find them tomorrow.

I staryed in bed until 11am today. I think I had the best night sleep I have had in a few days. I don't know why I haven't been sleeeping well.
Took dfBS to get her driver's license renewed. That was supposed to be about a half hour event, I thought probably an hour at most.
Well, she needed her SS number. Hasn't memorized it. Didn't have it with her. I went back to her house - at least she knew where her card was, which is better than I would have done for myself!
Then she coudlnt pass the eye exam. So we drove to the eye Dr she sees and got an appointment in Sept. Her current license doesn't expire until Oct, so there's time.
Altogether it was 3 hours! I'm going to start keeping track of teh time I spend with/ for her!
After I checked on mother's house, emptied her dehumidifier, reset her sprinkler for some new baby grasses, took in the mail,
picked up a book that I had ordered from the library, and had a wonderful conversation with the librarian
then made a bowl of coleslaw which is what I had for supper, with PB&J, I went to see mother.
I brought her the new pink lap blanket I crocheted for her. It's small enough to cover her lap without getting stuck in the wheels of the w/c. She lived it - at least for today!
Took her for a good long walk in the park
Listened to her fuss that she can't figure out why I can't take care of her at her house
Then peeled a peach for her when we got back to her room.
She's been having diffculty going to bed - "Someone else has been sleeping there, adn I don't want to sleep in their bed." "You need ot stay here tonight, because I don't want you to drive home this late." Which is why I have been going later in the day, to keep her busy before bedtime, so she will go to bed a little better. I did get her into bed, but it took a little convincing. Usually it seems she does settle better when I'm there near the end of her day.
And I'm just about at the end of my day, too!
I'll make a list for myself for tomorrow.
