Gma, you for sure made the right decision to "forget" fast day when you had homemade cake and ice cream, and friends to celebrate with.

Bama, how do you stroll in Costco? That place is a zoo! Luckily, the animals are well behaved.

You have made good use of your day off, Laurlind. Hopefully, all of the bedding will be dry before you have to go to bed.

(((helia and dmother))) You do so well at keeping her comfortable, which at this point is the important thing.

Have a good night, L.Ann. You have had a busy day.

I got my OAS cheque deposited, and I did make it to Costco. Man, that place is big and confusing! I got my membership card, and I did go in to get one of those famous rotisserie chickens that I have heard about for years. I passed the bakery section and quickly realized that it is not for me. They sell things in such big units that I will never get through them before they mould. I found the meat, and found that it is more expensive than my much-maligned grocery store. I found the rotisserie chicken and they are big and plump and less expensive than the grocery store. Worth the trip! I found the cheese section on my way out, and found that some cheeses are more expensive than my grocery stores, but others are a bargain. I bought a wheel of cambozolo and a pound of parmesan. Both much better priced than at the grocery store. And then I began the mammoth undertaking of leaving the store. I am so glad that I brought my superpower with me, so that I could at least park near the store.

I just have to clean up after Germane, and then my choppers are set for that chicken.

That's a great superpower, Doggedly! I've let my Costco membership lapse, but they do have some great things here, including produce, bakery (we've ordered their cakes for parties), and a good variety of cheeses. Dh even approves of their Dutch cheese! LOL!
That's amazing, L Ann that your mom perked up for that many more months. My mom has required help to feed herself for over a year now, perhaps 2. She's been on a soft food diet for most of that time. My mom doesn't do thickened liquids. When she was in the hospital, a speech pathologist came in and studied her eating and that was never recommended.

I'm done. It's almost 10:30. Adding to my final list for the day.

Next:
- get ready for bed
- go to bed
- sleep well

Later:
- work in dd27's room - 30 minutes
- read more in book for AC
- payroll: slides for class tomorrow

TaDas!
- up and dressed to jog; weighed self
- coffee
- updated groc. list -- I think it's complete now, except for items dbro would like
- email deletions + weather website - high of 80*F today! Rain tonight and tomorrow's high is 65*
- boiled egg
- took LAST doxycycline! (still have the bulls eye but it's faded)
- texts with dd29 -- when is she visiting my mom?
- texts with dbro re: food items -- not particularly helpful. "Surprise me." It's more helpful to us all if dniece doesn't get hangry.
- text to CG2 with prayer requests
- back exercises
- gather stuff
- visit Mom
- jog
- lunch
- payroll: GGT Qs and issues discussed with leadership team
- found pot roast recipe
- Kroger order (forgot several items  )
- checked bank accounts + insurance - yes, we did pay our house ins. (just checking - forgot)
- checked Mom's next appt. w/ geriatrics; I will need to cancel
- reclaimed kitchen
- some qt
- s2s and self care
- squeegee and wipe down shower
- made bed
- dinner: pasta with homemade tomato + mushroom sauce, green salad
- after dinner clean up
- called Walgreens; I think the script will be cleared up. They have it at a 90 day frequency while the Dr. has said a 60 day frequency. The pharmacist could see the Dr's note and said he'd call the pharmacy headquarters (or whatever - whoever is in charge of the prescriptions) tomorrow. I hope he does.
- duolingo
- payroll: posted reminder of exam tomorrow
- payroll: printed out final exams
- updated health apps
- payroll: graded some exam practice materials that students turned in.

LOL, it is my favourite superpower, helia. I think that I am going to pack it in too. Tomorrow is laundry day. I'll give Germane fresh food and water, and her Apoquel and then just coast until bedtime.
Have a good night!

Good night! Yes, I got to the Nh to visit mom, and remembered to take my phone back.
