The voluntary delay of an intended course of action despite expecting to be worse off for the delay.” - Timothy Pychyl
Boy... if that ain't the truth. SMH...

I need to make a list somewhat like yours, Cathy. SOOO SOOO many things I need to do, would like to do, etc. "would be nice to do" as Twins said.

It seems obvious that there is no "normal" week... there is SOMETHING that interrupts every week. I have to learn to work around these things.

Good for you on getting your email sent, Kittykat, booking your Christmas luncheon. I know that must be a weight off your shoulders. And you are so early with preparations! I'm still in denial that Christmas is coming, LOL.

WTG, Cathy with making so much progress on your list!

Mystery, I still have not used my new crockpot. I must find some sort of recipe that I can try out.

WTG, Nancy, on bathrooms and mowing... I need to put bathrooms on my list too.

Oooohhh... Twins, you got a lot done with all that paperwork. WTG!!!

Rose -- I'm just thinking how thankful I am that no one cares if my ROOF is dirty. My goodness. Don't we all have enough to do without making the ROOF a zone task?
Do you have a metal roof? I can see how that might need power washing periodically. Dmom just got a metal roof and it looks very nice, but she was disappointed that she could not hear last night's rain. She was looking forward to hearing the sound from her memories of her grandmother's house with the tin roof. She said her roof must be too well insulated to make the sound she expected.
WTG with the phone calls and bill paying!
And -- ugh -- (((HUGS))) for creepy friend. Can you leave the men alone and go out for something fun for youself?

LadyM, that's good that things are working out for your dd, and it allows extra time with older dd, doesn't it? I hope that is a good thing, also.
The list I'm about to make is going to be ridiculously long, but I have just let waaay too much pile up around me here, and I don't really know where to begin anymore. Still need to finish painting the patio table, but we are in a period of almost daily afternoon rain, so I'm procrastinating on that.

Harriet -- (((HUGS))) for the sudden tiredness when doing the biscuits. I know that must be upsetting when it comes on you like that.
I hope dmom will get over this desire for the lawn mower. She used to enjoy mowing, and all outdoor tasks, but she was quite a bit younger when she last did that, I think. I believe since ddad passed away (12 years ago now) she has had someone mow for her. NO ONE I talk to thinks this is a good idea -- saw cousins today, talked to dfriend, ladies at Bible study tonight... I think I will call my brother and tell him to talk her out of it.
And I called dmom today but she didn't answer, and never called me back, so I don't know if she is using the brace or not! I'll talk to her tomorrow.

Can't say I got in on anti-procrastination stuff today, but I do have a few ta-das:
* attended court -- divorce hearing -- with dcousin, along with other cousins, daunt, and some of dcousin's friends
-- Y'all, they went into mediations AGAIN and we were there for approx. 3 hours before they finally reached an agreement and settled everything without the judge having to make a ruling. Glad it was over for dcousin and then we all went out to eat.
* went to the post office
* took a VERY short nap
* man who rents house from me came to the door to pay, wrote him a receipt
* talked to ds, who brought dgd to me after school
* picked up dgs after football practice
* took them to Sonic for after school/practice snacks
* played with dgrands for a while, until time for church
* went to church, talked with the two ladies who were in my Bible Study class last spring, we decided on a book to study for this season
-- almost had a panic attack -- ridiculous -- I mentioned the book I'm reading about anxiety, Biblically-based solutions by a well-known and well-liked author -- and they were interested in it, and then I thought, "I don't want to teach that in a group; it might get too personal and I will talk too much and they will think I'm a nut."  I just kept praying silently to calm down and let God lead us to whatever was best for us. We decided against it however, because the book is $20 and we didn't want to ask people to pay that much if others join us later, and it has streaming videos to watch along with it, but we didn't want to ask the pastor to get those for us because we have had enough of videos. One of the ladies still works part time and by the time she gets to church, if we turn down the lights and watch a video, she wants to go to sleep. One lady remembered a set of books already in our church library, and we decided to go low-tech and back to basics.
* home -- washed a load of white clothes, including dgs' practice jersey
* washed his black practice pants by themselves
* forced myself to get up and move, "walked away the pounds" for 15 minutes

Tomorrow I will pick up both dgrands at 3:00, take them to their house for dgs to get his uniform, have him to the school by 4:30, and his game will begin at 5:30.
Before school dismissal, I will try to have some accomplishments to tell y'all about when I check in after midnight tomorrow. ;)
Tomorrow is another day.
