My sort, tidy, declutter activity for today was to post some "seasonal" i.e. fall stamps/dies and a punch for sale online. They get donated if there are no bites.

I had beautiful plans and only a little came to fruition. I did necessary tasks but the cleaning, decluttering, study and lesson planning tasks, nope. What is wrong with me?

I should be at Y right now but just not feeling it at all. I did go to 1 class yesterday.

I started out great went to Y and went to 2 theaters and bought our season tickets and booked shows, came home and did a.mani pedi but that was it, never went in office.

If I am not going to the Y today I could spend this morning in office doing something. I did get bills paid and groceries done and laundry delivered. I also binge watched too much TV which is also what I do when I dont want to be productive.

Off to shower and dress and do something productive in office.

Costumelady, it is great that your family can be close like that. And also, I bet you never want for someone to change a lightbulb or lift something heavy! We went many years with my oldest dd and family at a distance and it's nice to have them near us again. Now my youngest dd has left home and is just far enough away to make visiting hard! With some saving and time, she hopes they could find something closer (more expensive nearer home).

You said something that really caught my attention - you said you get to create and give a children's sermon. I'm so happy for you. I used to do that most Sundays and also teach an adult study but our denomination changed and sort of reverted, and women were shut out of speaking in worship or teaching. That's a long story.

I did go by Goodwill yesterday, but it was spur-of-the-moment, we didn't realize we were going when we left on errands. So, I didn't get to take things for donation. Oh well, there wasn't much, and I'll do it next time.

With organizing in the sewing room, surfaces have emerged!

Kitchen has been readied for installation of dishwasher, with cabinets and drawers cleared, items organized elsewhere. Cabinet door hinges taken off. But now we're disappointed that the fellow can't get to it for yet another 3 weeks. Tobias has taken the open space for a cat-cubby.
