I've just put away some laundry, Bama, so your bathroom might free of laundry now. Worth a check.
Hooray on getting the errands done, L.Ann.

I wish!
Posting for accountability. Lunch is done so need to push myself back to the closet to finish up at least enough that the bathroom can function again as it is supposed to and not as a closet attachment.
Bbwif!

Re: Samuel Wallis Wednesday @ TDD - C&C
First, funeral
then acknowledgment cards, and thanks to ALL who have helped me with the details. And of course Mother would want every one of them to have a gift, not just money....
Then my birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas in Christ Chapel choir festival, St. Lucia breakfast and crowning of this year's St. Lucia.
Somewhere in there, decorate her house outside with Christmas lights, and mine too
And maybe put up the tree at her house? Or bring her tree to my house?
Shop for Christmas gifts, get them in the mail
And get some sleep? And I have a couple dr appointments to make.
And dsis3 wants us all at her house for TG, that takes a whole week at least. She wants me to relax
But focus on today:
Printing of the bulletins and acknowledgment cards is arranged. Will pick up tomorrow afternoon.
Loaded my dw
redy to eat some soup for lunch and caramel apple for dessert
then do dishes at mother's house
Blow some leaves at her house
rake some leaves at m y house

I think that your dsister is on to something, Gma. Remove you from the location of Everything Needs To Get Done, and give you no options except Relax.
Hi, Peaches
Adjusting the aim of the trebuchet, cutting the cord that holds the weight, and launching Bama into the closet. I hope that she was finished her lunch...
I need to load $ onto the laundry card.

*Umpphhh!*
The sound of me hitting a wall of clothes
I spent a total of 2.5ish hours in the closet. It’s not done but it’s enough for now. I’m ready to get out of there.
Done:
Bible
Breakfast
Pets fed
Dogs - simparico trio
Floor - no messes yet
Laundry -
- took last cover out of dryer and spread on table to air
- put throws in dryer
Emails
Make grocery list on Publix app based on bogos
Mani/pedi - trim, cuticle oil
Whitening strips on teeth
:10 stretches
Bathroom - wipe down, toilet, litter, trash out
My closet - 1 hr taking things out, putting things in, moved chest, filled one box for donations so far, another 1.5 hours for 2.5 total today, not to mention idk how many 15s I’ve spent in there. Too many clothes is my problem. Working on it. Added some more to donate box so it’s full and ready to pack up. Will drop off when I run errands.
Lunch
Walked dogs around the yard some, tossed ball with Beau
Played ball with Lily with small cat ball with bell, she fetches as good as any pup.
Do:
Taking a mental/physical break before I do dailies, tomorrow is trash pu so must get all trash out the door.
Dailies
Monthlies
Bbl!

Re: Samuel Wallis Wednesday @ TDD - C&C
I hope that it was a soft landing, Bama.
Lily fetches better than any dog I have ever had.

Used SADD light

Wiped out tub
Fresh kibble for Germane
Spiffed self
Wiped out bathtub
Swished/swiped toilet
Loaded money on laundry card: struggled with the web site to load it. Tried 3 different browsers on my PC. Finally got it loaded from my phone.
Brought Germane, garbage, paper recycling and laundry card to basement.
Discarded garbage and paper recycling.
The doors were wide open, so I think that Germane understands why she’s not going for a walk.
Ogled the renovations going on in basement laundry room and mine.

Re: Samuel Wallis Wednesday @ TDD - C&C
Hello, everyone!
WTG on the errands, L.Ann!
Helian, I hope the dentist appointment goes well.
CL, very interesting information about neuro diversity. It's making me wonder...
Regarding cremation v burial, cremation is becoming a lot more popular due, I think, to cost, also with families a lot more mobile these days, they dont necessarily want a grave that needs to be tended, simplicity (an increasing number of people don't want a service any more, just the cremation itself. However, I am reliably informed, that the duty priest will *always* say a prayer over the coffin and accompany it on its final journey), and also the fact that we're a small country with a long history, and many churchyards and cemeteries are full!
In contrast, where families still live in the same town where their forebears lived, then burial is still more common. My DF PM is a local girl. Her mother purchased a triple plot at the cemetery for herself , her husband and for her daughter. (I think the rest of the family is buried at the same cemetery ). DF PM's late husband is buried in *his* family's plot. And, looking after 3 graves takes quite a lot of doing!
Gma, tomorrow"s funeral is for DF GH, a frie d from church. Before she retired, she was a mental health nurse. I think she was only in her late 70s but I'll find out tomorrow. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer back in June of this year. She did try chemotherapy, but it didn't work,
so after talking to her oncologist, she summoned our retired vicar, asked him to take her funeral service, and told him exactly what she wanted.
Bama, Jude fools a lot of people with her "cool unisex name".
(We didn't name her, but decided to keep her name as it suited her.) e
Even though she's registered as female at the vets, she's still referred to as "he" on occasion. I just politely say, "actually, she's a little girl!" and leave it at that. Somehow, I dont think she's going to be traumatised at being "misgendered" occasionally. I think she's more concerned about being on the scales and her weight read out for even to hear
Dogged, thank you for your kind words about Jude. Being all black, she's very difficult to photograph without her looking like a black blob!
Hi, Peaches!
This afternoon I cleaned the kitchen, and I also finally decluttered and cleaned those last two under bed drawers (I did the first two some weeks ago!
). So that's a little more progress with the bedroom.

Extras:
Put my outfit for Thursday's funeral together, so I can check everything works and I have even to hand on the day. We've been asked to wear something with bright colours, so I can find a pretty scarf to go with my smart navy coat, and a blue dress underneath? If it's going to be this mild again tomorrow (16 C) then I might wear my trench coat instead of my winter coat)
Try and see Dnextdoorneighbour D to find out when / if they're having fireworks this week, and get an approximate.start.time so I can medicate F and J
Put pictures back WIP
Make notes for report for CMA - 15 minutes - need to finish this and get it sent off THIS WEEK
Order new orthotics - wait until ankle settles
Can I do 15 minutes of decluttering in the bedroom each day?

Digital decluttering- Google Photos for 2024 and 2025
Pick up my footprints
House tasks: Replace the bit of mortar that's fallen out of the edge of the roof (I think its called the verge? Can this wait until next year when we get the house painted when a roof ladder will be in place?) I need for it to stop raining before I ask anyone to come and look!
Verge and ridge tiles on garage roof
Sort out cabinet that wobbles - does the back need some sort of bracing ?
Fix dripping kitchen tap (new washer ?)- DF E has given me the phone number of her plumber . I think DF CW also has a plumber she is happy with?
Take up and hem those thick winter curtains for the kitchen
Book eye test for me
Sort prints and put in albums (this will probably be an activity to do on wet days!) WIP I am now working on 2024
Think about setting up Guardianship for F,J and M - looked on Cats' Protection, I need their microchip numbers, approximate DOB, colour and markings and useful information about them. Bookmark link with local recommended solicitors (also ask DF CW?)
Change health centres to the one nearest us? On hold ATM , but I'll leave it on my list so I don't forget.

Re: Samuel Wallis Wednesday @ TDD - C&C
WTG on getting those drawers decluttered and the kitchen clean, Kittykatt.
I remember those days, when my dogs looked like a black blob in front of a clear background. Isn't it amazing how cameras have improved?
Wednesday
Used SADD light
Cleaned up after dog X 2
Got the last of the broth and fat from the picnic shoulder into the freezer
Started big slow cooker liner soaking
Filled a couple of treat jars
Filled the box with paper recycling
Cut down boxes to make rink boards for Germane’s pee pads
Put away dry laundry
Wiped out tub
Fresh kibble for Germane
Spiffed self
Wiped out bathtub
Swished/swiped toilet
Loaded money on laundry card: struggled with the web site to load it. Tried 3 different browsers on my PC. Finally got it loaded from my phone.
Brought Germane, garbage, paper recycling and laundry card to basement.
Discarded garbage and paper recycling.
The doors were wide open, so I think that Germane understands why she’s not going for a walk.
Ogled the renovations going on in basement laundry room and mine.
Sorted dirty laundry
Helped a delivery man make his delivery by loading everything onto the laundry cart and rolling it over the apartment
Found a laundry room with two washers and one dryer free
Started two loads with Germane
Brought Germane and cart home
Treats for Germane
Cleaned up after my very good dog who waited until we got back to do her business
