I had a phone visit with my db. He is feeling pretty down as he had to have his dcat put down this weekend. He plans to get another cat when he's ready though, which I took as a hopeful sign. I told him that I think that The Cat Distribution System will deliver one to him before he makes it to the shelter. Winter is setting in, and last winter the stray cat that we named Schrodinger was looking very thin and ratty by the end of winter. I have hopes that when I visit my db next spring, Schrodinger will be a plump and happy house cat in his home.
