Wtg, all!
French, I’m sure we have similar sayings, it’s times like these I wish dh’s dad was still alive, he knew a lot of old sayings… I’ll think on it. Saving the recipe “for later” is all that comes to mind which I don’t think means the same thing…
Smile, is the snow sticking or already melting?
(((Doggedly and Germane))), I hope the shower helps.
I started round robin-ing in the bathroom and only made it to one more room lol. I got stuck working on the bookshelf in our bedroom. It’s fun boxing up all of the children’s books and organizing a more modern reading area but it’s very time consuming. I have 6 boxes of books to store at moms and you can’t miss them. I have a ton of books to add to the bookshelf so looks like I will be thinning out some books. That will be hard.
Done:
Bible
Weigh
Breakfast/logged
Snack/logged
Bathroom - litter, toilet, counter
M bedroom - bookshelf for hours
Kitchen - wiped down, tossed some old snacks, organized the rest, dc fridge
Living room - clean rug
Emails
2 bags of clutter out the door
Do:
Pet chores

Re: Weymouth Beach Wednesday @ TDD - C&C
Hello, everyone!
Trissie, sorry DS is sick - hopefully it's a very mild case. England is very pretty in May.
Awww, bedtime stories with DSs, FFB - just lovely!
Laura, you're right, Freddie was reasonably well behaved at the vet yesterday,
which made a nice change , although I'm not holding my breath for his visit for his boosters next week!
Helia, you're a very good friend to MZ. No kitty nails today, Freddie had had too much to eat (he's a *lot* more cooperative when he's hungry and can be bribed with food!
Congratulations to your team, Smilelee!
I hope you and Germane feel better soon, Dogged.
You're getting well ahead with your Christmas wrapping, L.Ann. The magnets sound a lovely idea!
Bama, in one way, DH's retirement is going to be our next big adventure together. In other ways its going to mean adjustments for both of us. I think once the money side is sorted out I'll feel more settled. you could try spraying kitchen cleaner on the bathroom walls (try in a non visible place first, in case it takes the surface off!) and with some elbow grease, it may shift the soot -It suspect it may be greasy too, which is making it hard to wipe off.
Gma, I'm glad you're getting good advice for dealing with your DMum's estate.
Hi, Peaches!
I spent several hours with the financial stuff -some encouraging, some not so much. The rain stopped long enough for me to do a little in my garden and go for a short walk. I've tidied the house and cleaned the kitchen. DH is now snoring in his chair and Matilda is snuggled on the vetbed next to the radiator.

Re: Weymouth Beach Wednesday @ TDD - C&C
I don't know if the air pressure changed or if it's just that moving around has shaken something loose for both of us, but Germane and I are both back to normal.
Thank you, Smile*Lee, Bama and Kittykatt.
FrenchFly, I think that putting it on the back burner is the closest that we have.
Have a good night.
Hi, L.Ann and Peaches
Maybe you roundrobined the bookshelf, Bama. It still counts!
I'm glad that the meeting with the CPA went well, Gma, and that you have better weather than I do.
Kittykatt, I tend to go around in circles when I'm trying to make sense of financial stuff, so big WTG on getting yours done.
I am all clean and shiny. At seven, I have a ticket for an online event: The Walrus chairing a panel discussion on philanthropy in our changing economy.

Oh, I am ridiculous. The event is at 7:00 pm PST. I am in EST, so it will be 10:00 pm.
