My goodness -- ds' boss does sound like a difficult personality! FIve or six marriages? Oh my goodness! Yep, I don't think the problem lies on ds' side!
Twins, I think anyone would feel sorta grippy about the cemetery stuff -- AND the HOA -- AND the social committee. Gosh, you've got a lot on your plate and they are ALL potential sources of big aggravations.
I've always said once the group finds out you're an English teacher, you suddenly get voted in as the secretary. I'm sure once they find out you're an accountant, you become the treasurer/check writer/keeper of all things financial. (((HUGS)))
I had to go sign some checks at church today. Preacher was not there, so no more talk re: ddil's upset last night.
I also got my hair trimmed today.
Paid electric bill.
Went to post office.
Did another two loads of laundry. One load is put away, one load is waiting, plus another partial load of dgrands' clothes.
Walked 20 minutes indoors while talking to DS and dgrands on their way home from school.
Washed dishes that had been in the sink too long.
Did allergy shots.
Lots of stuff I did NOT do today.
Still need to wrap presents, type administrative council notes (I'm still gripey about that, Twins), and put away more laundry. WHB is always overlooked... although I did clean bathrooms yesterday.
Oh, and I need to do my Bible reading/devotional, which I neglected this morning.

I couldn't get my printer to print today until DS was on the phone. I think the printer fairy must have heard his voice and began to act right.

blessed, I had trouble with ordering online today also!
First, got a paypal notice that I had been charged $4.99 by a company I had done business with, but not for that price and not on that date. PayPal directed me to contact them, which I did, and they emailed back that they are "on it."
Next, I realized I had not received an Amazon item and I contacted them, got that refund started. Then I asked their AI bot (I guess) about another item which I want to return but when I asked about it before, they said my refund would be $45.99. I paid $59.99. So I asked about that, and the chat bot said I would receive the full refund. He/It sent me a shipping label and email which said I would receive a refund of... $45.99! I am so frustrated with them!
I am going to wait until after Christmas. The item is on sale right now for less than $40, so maybe that's why it keeps coming up like this. Or maybe I will contact them again tomorrow. SMH.
I hope your mom has a better day tomorrow, blessed. You are lucky to have ddaughters and helper to kinda tag-team her moods, aren't you?
Mystery, I dozed off after the hair cut and errands. For about 3 hours! IKWYM about having the houseguests for extra days. But they will probably take care of themselves pretty much.

Tomorrow, I have to take dmom to the pulmonologist. It's just a routine check-up. After that, we have to go to Home Depot because two of her seven solar lights are not working. I hate to say it, but I do dread this because dmom is so unsteady on her feet... she will have her walker and everything, but it makes for a long day. I do like the nurse and the doctor we will be seeing, and we are never there for very long.
No church tomorrow night, and I will miss chair yoga in the morning. No more yoga till after New Year's.
I bet I'll be dozing off tomorrow afternoon also.
