Thanks, Bama.
I'm setting up one of my computers and had thought of setting up a virtual machine on it so that I could put any bloated software on it and just wipe it out when the computer slows down too much. But a bit of reading showed me that you have to split the resources, and Windows 11 barely staggers along with its full 8 GB, so I don't think that it is practical. Now I'm looking at setting up separate users to isolate problems as much as possible.
WTG on getting lots done in the spare room.
I like Shakespeare and Hathaway too. Enjoy it!

I think that you will love the feeder, L.Ann. I have an online friend who got one as a gift and posts videos of the birds at her feeder.

Kittykatt, that is a good point about the Christmas arrangements being too crowded to have enough soil to hang on to water. This one is chrysanthemums surrounding a pointsettia. I think that the pointsettia is done. It has one leaf left on it. When the flowers all drop off, I'll just toss it. In the meantime, I'll give it water more often.

Gma, that is awesome that you can see and enjoy the improvement already.

Poinsettias that look good still carry some of the joy of the season. I hope you can keep yours for a wee bit longer.
My dfBS expresses her gratitude for my help by buying the biggest poinsettia that she can. I wish she wouldn't. It's bigger than my house can hold! But I have thanked her profusely, nad kept it watered. The edges of the red bracts are starting to curl. I don't konw if it would help if I sprayed them with water?

Progress report on my DR table. You will laugh at my sorting "categories." 2025, 2024, before that, and "stuff." It's actually working. A few things I just put away, but that's what the "stuff" box is for - later  . There is a spot on the table now where there is actually enough room for a plate, silverware, and drinking glass! Well, there was, until I covered it up again with another pile to go through. When I get that pile done, I think the table will be half done, and I can move to sorting the other side tomorrow morning.
*When I finish, I am going to reward myself with a table cloth, and a trip to the florist for a centerpiece bouquet. *
Then a trip to the K table to repeat the DR table progress. I can't believe, I have already made huge progress in the bathroom, the Living room, and the dining room. None is 100%, but all are so much improving, and a second round will be so much easier!

I have a really huge pile of things that are going to the basement (to be dealt with later, and/or to be put away in their basement places).

I think that is a very sensible way to go about clearing off the table, Gma. It helps to break it down to manageable categories.
It's only the poinsettia that is in the Christmas arrangement that is on death's doorstep. I have a big red one that is doing great, even though I broke half of it off. It seems to be rearranging itself to fill in the empty spot. And I have a little white one that I picked up for $3.00 from Home Depot.
LOL@ your df expressing gratitude with the biggest poinsettia that she could find. I used to work with a girl from Brazil who told me that they grow higher than the roof of the house there. So we can only be grateful that your df can't find one of those, LOL.

I have washed the floor and put the duvet cover from the bedding/fleece load on the line to ensure that it is really bone dry before it goes into a plastic bag and put away. And I think that I'm calling it for tonight. Not my best effort, but there is always tomorrow!

Have a good night!

Friday
Cleaned after dog X 2
Treats for dog
Put on a pot of coffee
Turned the plants in the sunlight
Put on a pot of rice
Wiped down standing desk with a damp cloth
Looked into virtual machines
FACE: checking what payments have been taken
Realized that I had only rotated the top shelf of plants and I have two more shelves of plants being ignored
Rotated the rest to benefit from the the sunlight
Found the Christmas arrangement actually limp from lack of water. It was watered at the same time as the other plants, so I don’t know what its problem is. Thirsty plants do not tend to do well with me.
Watered the thirsty plant.
Swept kitchen and entrance
Saw the thirsty plant has already slurped up all of the water in its plate.
Refilled its plate
Dusted
Swept apartment
Pulled dog pen forward and cleaned out under desk
Quick deadheading of the thirsty plant
Phone visit with db
Made dinner
Fresh water and kibble for dog
Washed floor
Put dry laundry away
Hung duvet cover on line
