Cathy, that is kinda concerning if dh is giving out phone number and address, isn't it? There's no real solution except maybe to go behind him "unsubscribing" to everything. (((HUGS)))
I get a lot of spam calls AND a lot of spam emails, partly because dh was signed up for so much-- some political websites and of course, his mail-order OTC meds and supplements. I have been trying to unsubscribe to a few things every day. But I can't blame dh for all of it -- I have bought things online that resulted in multiple emails for myself also.

Well -- tree 1, Lucy 0... BUT -- I have to also say, in the second match of the day -- Laundry 0, Lucy 1. :D
All my clothes are now hanging to dry AND -- are y'all sitting down? I turned all my clothes hangers and removed the items I apparently have not worn since 2020. 2020??? That is hard to believe, but that's what the sticky note in the closet says. Surprisingly, there were not a HUGE number of things I had not worn. But there are other things I don't remember wearing, so 2020 is probably right. LOL.
I have towels in the washer now, and I forgot to put underwear in there! I usually wash towels and underwear together.
I also need to change sheets, but I think that will wait until tomorrow.
Also -- I made a decision to throw away a dish towel. It was used to wipe up grease from the ham. Ugh. It smells SOOO bad. I was afraid to even wash it with the other towels! I realize I use the same towels over and over, so I don't think one less will make that much difference.
Ooops -- I also forgot to put the towels that hang on the oven door in the washer. My memory has been a mess today. I started into the drug store, got to the door, didn't have my wallet... back to the car... back inside... remembered I had a UPS drop off box... back to the car...

I did not lie down, either. So that's a win for me.

DSISIL came over with a letter that had dh's name on it but went to their address. After I opened it, I realized the name was like this:
DH first name DH middle name DBIL first name
DBIL address

It was from College Town, looked like an alumni association letter head on the return address, but it turned out to be something wanting us to sell the condo, telling us how much they were going for these days.
I'm just going to ignore it. Pretty sure dbil isn't ready to sell, and I'm not going to suggest selling until at least after dgd starts college. If neither of my grands want to go there, then I think I will be ready to get rid of it. This year, I ended up owing dbil some money for the first time when we balanced out the tickets against the condo fees.

My back hurts after doing the laundry and closet. I may have to settle into the recliner for a bit.
Tomorrow is another day.

LucyLee!! You just reminded me that I hadn't turned my hangers this year. I've always gotten it done between Christmas and New Years. I'm going to put it on my page for tomorrow. Thank you!!

Glad I could help!

Obviously, this isn't something I have been consistent about. LOL -- note says Sept. 2020. SMH.

The histamine reaction isn't even touched by a half a Clar i tin. That's all I ever have to take under any normal circumstances. So this has lasted longer than ever - I don't think it's ever lasted until nighttime. Ironically, I think the med is protective of lungs but I'm supposed to be cautious about post-nasal drip ever since pneumonia in 2010 and continued requirement for an inhaler for months. Sigh. What a balancing act these things can become.

I realize I'm getting punchy. Tired. I think I may go to bed early and sleep on the incline bolster. I'll talk to Gen Practitioner Friday about this monthly quandary.

Dd27 called. She says the folks around her at work are reporting a lot of flu this year. Sigh. Dsonil got on the phone and I chatted with him briefly. Neglected to thank him for cropping the photo.

Desk Day tomorrow. HRH says we're going out to eat for lunch. He's in a cheery mood.

The best OTC med I know for sneezing and sniffling is Chlortabs, which I have bought at Wmart and through Amazon. HOWEVER -- I hesitate to recommend them to you or anyone else, Harriet, because DS took one and it hit him like Benadryl does me -- he was out like a light for hours! But it does dry me up when my eyes are watering and nose running and I'm just miserable.
All this has reminded me that I was supposed to take allergy shots Sunday, but I am out of the serum. Sent email during holidays and it may have gotten lost in their days off. I will call them tomorrow.
Also have to call the retirement office re: drug coverage -- apparently I am one of many who are having trouble getting started with the new year. Pharmacist was well aware of the situation; her husband is a teacher.

SO -- I never made it to the recliner, and I will now score tonight's match Tree 1 -- Lucy 1.
All the decorations are off and in boxes. (At least, I THINK all the decorations are off. Seems like I always find one when I start pulling the lights off.)
I'm through for the night.

Daunt called tonight -- her uncle/my great-uncle passed away yesterday, and we don't know any arrangements. It's really bothering her. This is the third or fourth time she has called me about this. Plus I know her daughter was in touch with our uncle's son over New Year's. The son (who is only five years younger than me) told me on New Year's Eve that this was expected -- 94 year old uncle had been in ICU on a ventilator for 15 days with pneumonia. The son also told me then, "We're not going to have a service like we did for mom; he says he doesn't want anything like that, so it will probably be a graveside with just me and my boys." So after talking to daunt earlier, I sent him a text and told him she wanted to go to the graveside, if he didn't mind having extra people... and he has not answered. So I figure he DOESN'T want extra people, and I'm fine with that. But I told daunt I'd go with her if we find out when it will be. There is certainly no guarantee it will be tomorrow. That would be the expected thing, but as y'all know, I waited from Friday till Tuesday to have dh's service, my choice, and sometimes the funeral home schedule influences your choice. For example, I checked the local funeral home and saw that they have had 8 services since New Year's Eve. That's unbelievable here in Tiny Town. Plus -- I searched on Find a Grave, and saw that he will be buried at this small out-of-the-way cemetery where his wife was buried a few years ago. Daunt said she had been there, and started telling about an experience of getting stuck in mud, etc... so I'm really not excited about driving out there.
Dmom said this uncle and his wife went across state lines to get married -- this used to be VERY common in our area; my parents did likewise -- but she said my dad drove them to Iuka, Mississippi when they got married. If ddad was 16, uncle would have been 26 and his wife 19. I don't know why they would elope -- but could have been because there was no waiting period for blood tests. That used to be a thing. I think in Alabama you had to wait 3 days. My parents claimed that was their reasoning when they eloped to Trenton, Georgia. (But it also was more convenient for dmom to lie about her age over there, I'm sure.) I don't think you even have to get a blood test today.

Oh well, must get in the shower and keep up these new habits I'm building. ;)
Tomorrow is another day.
