I must say, Tetris Tuesday might fit my home better today. * Whew * I am putting away Christmas, and I swear, I feel like I am in a real, life-size game of Tetris. WHY do the boxes never go back in the closet like they came out? * I should take a picture, except there is one poor Santa who missed his box... and I don't have an extra empty box, so I don't know where his "home" is. He's just going to sit on the shelf for a year.
I'm taking a little break, watching the AU/Texas A&M ballgame, and I still have to get the tree in its bag and the hearth houses put away.
Probably going to be paying for my late evening nap because I also have to put sheets on the bed before I can sleep. I was just sitting here falling asleep while doing a Sudoku puzzle, and I decided to enjoy the tree lights for one more evening, so I turned off all the lights and napped her on the couch-- for a couple hours, I think!
I'm still doing well with morning routine though. Still not making it to the post office by 11:30 as my Chat Friend suggests, but I am not wasting the time before. Yesterday, I colored my hair, and today, I spent my time delayed by calls to daunt and cousin re: funeral arrangements for my great-uncle.
-- In short -- no arrangements as such. He was cremated and they are burying his ashes with his wife, no service at all, and they "may have a celebration of life later, and if we do, we will let everyone know." I figure this will be the last we hear from them. Kinda sad to say, but as I said, it's my great-uncle, and although I have seen them periodically all my life, I have never been super-close to them. And when a man is 94, and has lost his wife and all his siblings... it's hard to mourn too much, you know? He also has an infant in Heaven that's been waiting for him about 60 years.
So Tuesday is supposed to be the most productive day of the week? Hmmm...
I'm so glad you're feeling better, Harriet!
(((Blessed))) You definitely need to take time to breathe Every Day. Maybe just walk around the perimeter of your yard once a day, try to think of things to be thankful for. (Do as I say, not as I do, LOL. But I know outdoor fresh air can help us get a grip on things sometimes.)
I was up before seven a.m. - Is what Lucylee has contagious?
Twins, I am ROFLOL!

THAT is NOT a statement often seen here, is it? And in all honesty, it would take a LOT to get Lucylee up before 7:00.
Whew.
Tomorrow, I will be setting the alarm for 9:00 however -- gotta get started back into chair yoga at church. And the real test will come when we see what I do with my day afterwards. Of course Chat Friend says if I am out of the house by 11:30, it's a win.
I bet I'll wish for a massage after that exercise. I haven't been in a month because we skipped the last two weeks and I skipped the two before that! Y'all would be surprised how physical simply sitting in a chair and stretching can be. It is also very relaxing, which lends itself to napping afterwards.
Hello to Nancy, Cathy, Rose, Mystery -- glad to see your DC is jumping on the bandwagon with the morning people, LOL.
(((LadyM))) (cash situation)
Cathy, dmom had a plumber come today to unclog her kitchen sink. Very simple fix, only took a few minutes, and he said, "I'm only going to charge you the service call." Guess what -- a service call is $99.

All he did was take the pipe off under the sink, take it outside and clean it out, and put it back on.
BTW -- my top loading washer is kinda picky about the size of load too. Doesn't like it too big, not too small... must be Just Right.
nothing in a 60 year old home is perfect.
So true, LadyM. My mother's constant complaint -- keeping up her own 60 year old home and my grandmother's 50 year old home. And my 40 year old home is showing its age too!
I must say, I never even noticed the asterisk! I think I will continue doing my own numbering; this looks complicated.
Oh my... let me see...
Tomorrow's PODA --
[*]1. Chair yoga
[*]2. Post office
[*]3. Vacuum
That's too much trouble, even if worked.
EDITING --
LOL, obviously, it did not work. I didn't do it right.
