When dh woke up, I mentioned that I wanted to go to the Friday Fibre group. So I loaded up the laundry because there is a laundromat 2 doors down in that plaza and off I went. Laundromat was closed and will reopen on Monday, so I guess the owner is on vacation. (Dates for closure were 8 days in total, which is why I figure the owner has gone on a week's vacation.) I put the laundry back in the truck and went in to the store where we have the Friday Fibre group. There were only 2 other women there, other than the owner.

It's over cast here and extremely windy. Supper is in the oven. I told dh I would go to the other laundromat in our tiny town tomorrow. I also told him that if that one is closed or too busy, I'm going to the other tiny town just west of us to a laundromat that I have used before.

Tree decor didn't get taken down today. Maybe tomorrow. My personal deadline for the tree being out of the house and into the garage in it's box is this Sunday. A full week past when I wanted it out. Oh, well... stuff happens.

I invited DS17 to walk with me. There is something calming about talking while walking. All is well now.

Sweet dreams.

Dishwasher has been emptied and refilled. Now it's doing the job it was built for. I am scrolling through FBook.
I dealt with all of the litter boxes yesterday and I can't do laundry.

I was out this a.m. and didn't get back until afternoon. The appt with gen prac was delayed, but fine otherwise. I was prepared with info from other drs and info on the one med he prescribes for me. A very good appt - he is generous with explanations and answers over a wide range of things. The most emphasis was on not wanting his patients to change their diets, keep emphasizing whole grains and beans. He's preaching to the choir with me.

Afterward, we were able to return the one gift I'd received in duplicate, so that's done.

We went by the healthy foods grocery along the way and got two plates of food to take home from their buffet.

By this evening, the pharmacy had called to say the prescription was refilled, so that's all in the check column, we just have to find a time to pick it up.

Spent time through the afternoon dealing with email stream re my dear aunt's bequests. So frustrated with the lawyer on this. The proofreading was so bad in the emailing from lawyer that we all could actually misunderstand it and had to read over for context. Sigh. HRH says let it go, that poor proofreading is forgivable in a lawyer, but I'm not so sure. Also, until I made a call myself to another recipient, they hadn't even known to make contact. So, just sort of feeling like I'm doing other people's jobs. I'm certainly not the one who will be sending a bill.

Some more embroidery this evening, and getting very close to finished. I stopped because I could tell I was making mistakes and having to undo a little. Tired.

Finished a round of indoor plant care.

Good walks chat - I'm so happy several here have had such a good time on their walks today.

((Mystery)) hope it's not too painful for tooth or pocket.

Cathy, glad you got the chance to attend the fibre group.

blessed, you got a lot done, and it sounds like you had a cheerful day.

I'm just ci: to let y'all know I'm still around. Today was a TOTAL waste... I didn't realize I had not turned on my alarm, and I didn't stay up after waking around 10:00... and the next thing I knew, it was noon.
I did go to the post office and the grocery store -- I needed bananas and Propel water, and Wmart usually doesn't have as good a selection of either. Grocery store selection on Propel flavors was disappointing too.

DGD is here and she and I are already in bed. She has started wanting me to lie down with her when she gets tired, usually around 9:00 pm, and even though I watch tv and read, it does make for a more restful evening.

I'm glad your appointment went well, Harriet. I think I would agree with you-- a lawyer's work should be VERY well proofread. Seems like a lot of problems could be created from misunderstandings in legal documents. Too bad you can't bill for YOUR services. ;)

Also glad to hear all is well with LadyM and DS.

Blessed, I usually have a lot of trouble getting back on track after leaving the house, too. My mom has discussed this also. I really thought when the Chat suggestion was that I get out of the house every day, on schedule, I thought, "This will never work," but it has been surprisingly effective.
The key for me is DO NOT SIT DOWN when I return home. When I come in the door, I have to immediately involve myself with something -- laundry, dishes, the vacuum cleaner -- something. If I sit down and eat anything, my blood sugar crashes and I'm out for the afternoon. I'll curl up on the couch with the newspaper and my blanket and I won't move for hours.

(((Mystery))) I hate that about your tooth and crown! Hope all goes well and you remain pain free!

Good night to all!
Tomorrow is another day.
