(((RRose)))

LadyM good luck getting to all appointments on time!

Dh had his cardiologist appointment. He reduced one med to 1/2, which is easy. One pill instead of two. He is also going to send him for a heart ultrasound.

So happy to be done with this day. Tomorrow will be a PSW in the morning to actually give him a shower and then the OT to have a meet and greet/home inspection. I will just have to make sure the dishes get done sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

Glad the meeting went well Cathy, and that you have help going forward.

Bw2, so sorry your mom is rambunctious today but it's so nice she has spirit. It's just she takes it out on you. Glad you're back into decluttering. How is the addition coming along?

LadyM, so hoping that dd46 comes and that the reset happens. Will be nice to have the counselor work with her on it.

Mystery, she can also look around the house for shoe boxes or other boxes that will work as dividers - if needed use some nice gift wrap or contact paper to cover...

WTG on the steps, Nancy, and great to get fresh air.

((RR, LM, and Cathy))

I had a great workout as usual. Afterward went to a nice plant nursery near the gym to see what they had for potting orchids - they only have the bark like I have, and they said that their orchids are all in the bark, not the moss. I have the bark, but thought I should try the moss, so I'm going to try to save my orchid by repotting in the bark again. It went straight downhill after I repotted it in the fall and now has root rot.

And I went by the jewelry store to pick up bracelet, so that's done.

Dh and I are eating out on the early side, then I have a 7 p.m. zoom upstairs. I know I'll enjoy my nice clean desk up there!

Sooo hoping things go well for dd14, LadyM!

And I am sooo glad the visit with the caregiver went well, Cathy!

Boy, my dmom "celebrated" National Clear Off Your Desk Day" in a big way, and she didn't even know it. She said she was cleaning her desk, a LONG procrastinated task... I mean L O N G procrastinated... (she probably could have used a shovel and pick ax also) -- and she found her 2025 property tax statements. Which she never paid. She ended up going to the courthouse and talking to the people face to face. There was a penalty for paying late, but it was not a HUGE penalty. We will try to do better next year (WE, since she depends on me to help her remember these things.)

I ate lunch with Dfriend and had a nice time. Went to post office, bank (ATM), church to sign checks, and to dmom's to see if her new Ring doorbell has to be installed on brick or not. (Yes, brick. DS is not confident about drilling into brick, so will probably get contractor friend to do this for dmom.)
Dmom was not home when I went out there and there are reasons DS and I need to go back -- door bell, problem with gas logs, problem with a bracelet dbro sent her, AND she is ready for DS to take her outside wreaths down. (I'm thinking dbro is making no promises for any visits soon. Dmom had said she was leaving wreaths up "until (she) could pin down dbro on a time for a visit." This is kinda sad, but I am not bothered except to think that someday, dbro is going to regret not spending more time with his dmom.)

I have done a load of towels and underwear, and that's about it for the day.
Tomorrow is another day.

The appointments all happened. My brain is fried from the complexity of them that I did not expect.

DS17 appt with family doctor was to get his acne meds refilled. Simple....right? Ha! Our family doctor did that but then he talked to DS17 about his weight. DS17 was willing and they decided he would start taking Ozempic while doing a slew of testing. The nurse taught DS17 how to administer the med (in stomach) and he has 4 appointments schedule for various tests. Oh goodie....because I didn't have enough appointments on the calendar....>>sarcasm<<

DD14 trusted counselor wants her to meet with a trauma specialist in the big city. My dance card feels kinda full with already taking DD14 to 4 specialists plus family doctor. However, I am just trusting these experts are giving us good guidance so am going to pile on another specialist to the dance card.

Before leaving the city I stopped by pharmacy and picked up DS17 prescription.

DD49 did show up and is currently working with DD14 in her bedroom. I'm hearing lots of light hearted chatter and giggling happening. I just saw DD14 take a filled 50 gallon trash bag out of her bedroom. I am soooo very pleased for DD14.

Oh good! I am so glad happy sounds (and a big trash bag) are coming out of dd14’s room!
And (((hugs))) for the additional scheduling (and taxi service?) that LadyM will be running.
Tomorrow is another day.
