Re: Saturday PWYC
My creative time ended when 3 teens arrived. They asked for pizza so got that ordered for them. They are sorting pokemon cards now with thoughts of selling and become rich beyond their dreams.

Re: Saturday PWYC
Checking in from my virtual writing retreat.
The session this afternoon got canceled so I started dinner early.
Did some scene & character cards & got notes in one of the spots I needed & edited a chapter
I found that needed it.
Updating some stuff with this is helping I think.
Got a nap in this morning so that helped.
Glad I'm learning to do scene and character cards.
Got a lot more edits done.
Was able to get the chapters in better order and that was a big relief and
quite a bit easier than I thought it would be.
My team is in the playoffs so I'm taking a break
to watch with out the sound up now. It had a great start in any case!
Waving!

Re: Saturday PWYC
We are home, I lollygagged far too long this morning and ended up having to get ready and go quickly for our afternoon. We saw the Broadway show "Kinky Boots" with A and V - very enjoyable and entertaining and not too loud, unlike last weeks' show. We then had an early supper out. Once I was in I had to get mail (had a stamp set and an HOA check. https://echoparkpaper.com/winter-market ... stamp-set/) and I needed to walk the ddog. So I'm finally getting time to get back here.

So sorry your mom is being hard to get up, bw2. It's for her own good of course, but it's a battle for you.LadyM, it's a joy to me to hear about your spaces being nurtured for creativity.

Re: Saturday PWYC
Looks like fun, Twins'.
Nice to get a nap, Nancy. Getting some rest would probably help with thinking all that out.
blessed, I hope you do get to see the botanical gardens sometime. I saw a sad photo - a for sale sign photographed in front of the nursery dds and I love to enjoy. Haven't told dd27 yet - she will be sad.
We toyed with the idea of going out today but waited long enough to talk ourselves out of it.
I enjoyed a chat with one of HRH's online friends, while he was taking care of his toddler. That was fun. She is quite verbal.
Tomorrow, we think dd27 will be able to come visit through the afternoon. She can help me get the high decorations down in the LR. Hope dsonil will come, too.

Re: Saturday PWYC
I got that error message for the first time today. Later on, I tried again and everything seemed to be working fine. Y'all remember -- we do have a Facebook page, and if we ever get "lost" from each other, I hope more of you will migrate over there.
Blessed -- I saw where you mentioned that we always miss each other because I'm always showing up so late! I'm sorry.
Especially on the weekends, dgrands really monopolize my time. But of course, I wouldn't take a million dollars for them. I try to remind myself when DGD is having me play school for another time (which surprisingly, is NOT my favorite thing, LOL) but I try to remember that it won't be much longer that she wants to play anything with me. She's 10 going on 16 right now. (I noticed last night that she will have to shaving her underarms when bathing suit season gets here this spring.) She's growing up sooo fast. And of course, dgs is too, but somehow, I think maybe because of his autism, he will be happy to spend time with Nana even longer than she will. He gets along well with others, but he's really happy to just be doing his own thing here or at his own house. DS was like that too.
Well -- today -- just to catch up -- I have NOT lain around like a slug all day! Got up and got breakfast with dgd, played for a little while with her,
texted the ladies in my Wednesday church class re: book for our next study, ordered those books thanks to my three-month trial with Prime, they should arrive by this Wednesday...
took DGD to our pastor's house so she could have a playdate with the pastor's grandson...
came home, s2s, went to the rec center, signed her up for softball, went to baby shower for former student and family friend...
went to pick up DGS... back home... made out a Wmart order... watched ballgames on tv (and I did nap a tiny bit)... pastor brought DGD back to me... I took her home...
came home (they only live about a mile or two away from me)
DGS and I went out for supper, stopped at grocery store, filled up the car, picked up the order from Wmart,
back home, put that away (he helped)
watched TV awhile and finally took a shower, studied SS lesson for tomorrow... and now, I am in bed and it is not even midnight!
I'm going to read a little while and go to bed * hopefully without the tv on at all!
OH -- LadyM -- thanks for the advice re: finding lost laptop! Unfortunately, I would be willing to bet that no one ever enabled Find My Device on dmom's laptop. SMH. I didn't even know such a thing existed. (I have it on my Apple watch to find my phone, but I didn't know the laptop would have it.) I bet we'll do it if she ever gets another one! Wouldn't that be nice -- if someone she knows actually does have it... and then she could say, "Hmmm... Person I Trusted, why is this saying my laptop is at YOUR house???"
Sigh. It will never show up, in all likelihood, and we will have to depend on cameras for future security. She (and I) are hoping we can get very inconspicuous cameras that no one will notice (housekeeper, handyman, painter, etc). She does have one Ring doorbell -- not installed yet -- and we will make sure she has more. DS will be able to install them and set them up on her phone.
Twins... lollygagged. That was one of my dad's favorite words, I think. "Quit lollygagging and get busy." Also -- "Pick 'em up and put 'em down."
As you ALL well know, I am a pro at lollygagging.
Nancy -- your writing sounds like you are really making a lot of progress. When you have something published, please let us know!
Some of you were talking about planting seeds -- blessed and others -- DGD is all excited because "the 4-H man came and gave us all seeds, and I am going to plant them after our next meeting." She got spinach seeds. Her other granddaddy always plants a garden, right there in her backyard, so I told her Papaw would be a big help to her getting them started.
WTG with the quilt block, Harriet!
Waving to ALL cause I know I've left out a bunch of folks! I have to get up at 7:45 in the morning and y'all KNOW that is hard for me. DS, DDIL and some others are singing at church, DGS is reading the scripture, and I have to teach DDIL's class (K-5th grade, and I expect no more than 4 pupils, counting DGD.)
So --- good night to you all!
