I hope this webinar is the "right thing" for today. We're on the first break. I've been listening and troubleshooting Dropbox, which was displaying a weird icon that meant that Microsoft OneDrive was trying to sync my Dropbox files. Now Microsoft OneDrive is supposedly not linked to this computer and is uninstalled so I'm not sure how it is happening. I've uninstalled Dropbox and reinstalled and it seems okay. We'll see as time goes by.

This came up because I was trying to update my Zoom photo to a more recent photo and somehow Zoom can't use the photo. Whoops, no weird icon but Zoom still can't access my photo. Weird.

I did not get rid of much stuff yesterday. One neighbor has offered to take to a thrift shop where she volunteers, one teaches at a school and wants "what's left." I thought it would go to the church with a stamping ministry but I don't know now...

All snow clearing is as done as it's going to get! I got to do some of the plowing and now that I know how to use everything properly, it's "almost" fun.

I brought in some new litter and a box of insulin for dh. Before we went out, dh asked me to put on his socks for him. That was a good thing.

We are having grilled cheese with soup tonight. Dh will have pea soup. I might have tomato.

I cancelled PSW this morning. Driveway will be clear for them tomorrow.

I called pharmacist and he suggested going to emerg. Dh said he doesn't want to go. Thankfully he has a doctor appointment tomorrow night at 7 p.m.

My day here is warm, humid and cloudy. Our cold front is starting and highs for tomorrow and the rest of the week will be in the mid-60’s

I e been to class, did my morning routines and got Sweetie ready for the day. That takes me about 2 hours. Just finished making him his lunch.

I getting ready to color my hair. I’ll be glad to get that done.

Waving to y’all… hope yall are staying warm. My two friends..one in Columbus, OH and the other in Aiken, SC, each received over a foot of snow, but at least they both have power.

Good afternoon

DS17 woke me up a little after midnight last night and I didn't return to sleep until around 3am. My sleep tracker says I got 4hours 43 minutes of sleep. Weird night but all's well that ends well.

It is so beautiful here with bright sunshine and snow. I went outside for the first time in 3 days and my eyes struggled with all the brightness. When I came back inside I couldn't see for a moment while my eyes adjusted to inside. I learned that wearing sunglasses are needed when i go out. Our highest temperature today will be 28F so not much melting happening other than from the sunshine. The plows have managed to push the snow off the primary roads, so travel is becoming easier as long as speed is reduced. Doing donuts is still a thing though in the parking lots and streets. No school today but I expect by tomorrow they will have the bus routes cleared.

Today is celebration day here for GF 16th birthday. When DS17 went to pick up GF16 this morning I had him stop by the donut shop and get the 3 teens their favorite breakfast treats. With GF turning 16, now we have an uninterrupted line of teens ages.... 14, 15, 16, 17, 18. The 15- and 18-year-old don't live here so we don't get to interact with as much.

Good afternoon!

Sorry you're having computer weirdness, Twins.

LadyM, what a privilege you have, in a way, of being "home" to all those teens. I always hoped mine could be the house where all the kids hung out, but between my own disorganization, my kids' (especially DC's) ADHD leaving them little time for leisure, and my kids' going to school far from home and making friends who lived even farther away, it never happened.

Cathy, we just had tomato soup and grilled cheese for lunch!

Other than making lunch (which I haven't cleaned up yet), I haven't made much progress since my earlier post. Got wash in, that's about it. Time to clean up lunch and flip the wash.

I made the most awful chicken - I thought was cooked - it wasn't in most areas - the breasts were past the temp - etc. I tried cooking it longer - nope - everything went down from there - dh told me "how" to make regular gravy without looking at a recipe - awful!
stuffing was good - I should have followed the original gravy recipe with white wine and broth. - looks like I will be making chicken enchiladas etc. instead of serving it as baked chicken - such a bummer.

awful. I should have trusted my gut feelings.

I was wrong about having school tomorrow. They have announced due to road conditions they are cancelling school again.
What is RO?
I forgot to answer this question yesterday. Sorry for the delay.
RO = reverse osmosis. We are on well water that has extremely high mineral content so all water must be treated when it enters our home, or our water pipes will quickly become stopped up from mineral coating the inside of pipe. ANYway, in addition to that water treatment we further treat our drinking water with 4 more pressurized filters which results in having reverse osmosis water at one of the kitchen faucets.

DD14 is in the kitchen making some sort of dessert while she has a friend on speaker phone. DD14 is on the phone with friends about 90% of the time that she is awake. DS17 and GF16 stay on the phone all night while they sleep. When I wake DS17 in the morning I can hear GF16 on the phone. Anyone else do similar?

I hate to say that I'm bored. My head hurts, my eyes hurt. And it's afternoon break and I need to walk the dog, and it's 24 degrees "feels like 12." Feeling sorry for myself!
