February H&F habit focus = Take time to enjoy those Ahhhhh moments.

February has certainly had its ups and down in the H&F arena. Overall I am thrilled that I haven't stopped trying.....even when I'm not doing my best I am still tracking everything. The good and the not so good.
Sleep is going to be my focus for March H&F. I have been trying some changes the last few days and am seeing positive results. I never nap during the day, so the sleep I get is all at night. Monitoring DH mental episodes and raising teens means my nighttime sleep is frequently interrupted. I acknowledge this is the phase of life I am in and it won't always be like this. My redline rock-bottom least amount of sleep I allow myself to get is 7 hours average. I am frequently in the 5 & 6 hour range so I need to make some changes. ANYway, with a few tweaks I belief I have found a way to improve my sleep time & quality so I will be implementing that habit in March. My goal is a solid 7 hours and who knows....with these changes I might even reach 8 hours of sleep with a higher sleep score.
Movement during February improved over January by 400 steps daily (average). My current daily step average is 7248.
During the month of February I hit 600 days of tracking in Cronometer. I continue to hold myself to brutal honesty with what I eat. Somedays it is NOT something I want to record and see the results, but I do it anyway. I remind myself it is just numbers and to leave the emotions out of it. I enjoy having this data available to analyze in a cazillion different ways (macros, micros, minerals, vitamins, fasting hours, etc, etc, etc,
HOWEVER, for the first time since I started keeping track of everything I eat July 2024.....I gained weight. Over the past 20 months I have had 5 months when I didn't lose any weight but this is the first month that I gained weight. February data shows me 2.1 lbs heavier than January 2026. ***sigh***
I know what cause it and I know how to stop it. I will be working on that aspect of H&F during March too.
