Good afternoon! Not much conga-ing here so far, but something better -- I went out on an errand with dfriend K, and we stopped for brunch after. It was nice to catch up -- she's been recovering from surgery, so we haven't seen each other since last girls' night (which was really only two weeks ago), and she won't be at the one this weekend, and it's always nice to see her without the rest of the gang. It's just really nice to see her any time, really. So a pleasant morning. The weather, too, is pleasant. Sunny, and it's supposed to get to nearly 60F. That must be later in the day, though -- it's still in the 40s right now.
Once I got home, I worked on the WW a bit more -- they sent a video of how to save the MyChart results as a PDF. It meant accessing MyChart through my computer, which I don't generally do, but I eventually got there and saved the files and emailed them to myself so I could attach them to a chat message, which I also had to figure out how to do. I don't like to think of myself as computer illiterate, but I've lost a step.
Thanks to Cathy's mention, I've got the curling on the computer in another window as I type this. So the Brier would be the end of the season, then, I presume. When does the season start, Cathy?
Next up, getting back to the daily cards. So, laundry -- I've got a load and a half to fold. I got to flipping the wash late enough last night that not only did I not stay up to wait for the dryer to finish, but I just scooped the previous day's dryer into a laundry basket and only folded some of it. If I clean off the card table, I can get one of the kids to cart the unfolded clothes up and help me fold. Then maybe I can get some work out of them in the playroom.
Aww, LadyM. It sounds like the new couch and loveseat made it feel like "his place," and he wanted to invite you over.
You'll have to keep us updated on your doves, Rose!
I hope all goes well with your DAR application, Twins.
Yikes! Two o'clock! I really must get going! Have a great day!

I've done the store run & put stuff away. Walked out to fetch mail with ddoggo and
do a couple of blocks she wanted more but I needed to get my Rx forgot it after my lunch
so had to come back to the house for that.
Got my steps in. Raked a few leaves by the back fence enough to make a trail.
Sun came out for a bit.
---
Did up the dishes after I ate.
Froze up half of the bread I made the other day.
Read some.
Got some crocheting done had to take some out and got that redone.
New color is on now.
Watched another episode of a series I've been watching.

After DD14 fasting labs were accomplished, we went out to eat at breakfast restaurant. Eating out means that my calories are always so high. That one meal used my entire day of calories plus an extra 300.
We dropped DD14 off at DD49 home to spend a few hours then DH and I went to the lake. It was too windy to do much but we enjoyed taking drives down memory lanes. IYKWIM

Mystery I have no idea when the season starts. The women still have another tournament before their season is done.
I went and picked up some prepackaged things. Dh wanted a fruit tray. I got him the smallest one. (Shhh...) I also picked up a chicken Caesar salad and heated cabbage rolls. I am making a shake and bake shoulder pork chop and pierogies. There will only be a few pierogies because we have salad.
I was planning on getting eggs and I totally forgot. I didn't go to the Friday Fibre group today and I got a text while I was shopping from the store "manager" (owner's daughter) to say she missed me this week and was everything okay. I texted back that I had watched the curling.
I also went to the bank on the way home.

I think I have the response to the DAR AIR written up. Have emailed back and forth with chapter registrar this afternoon. The genie wrote.."The research you performed for the analysis was so encompassing that you may already have proof that William born c 1798 is the son of Nathan." Registrar indicated that the genie involved was a Vice President General and is now an Executive officer in addition to working as a staff genealogist so she knows her stuff I guess. I also transcribed page one of a very lengthy rambling court document. I think I can get away with submitting only the first page. I'd hate to transcribe the whole thing, it's very light and bad handwriting.

Oh, dear, I hope she feels better soon, blessed. Hoping a good night's sleep can make a difference.
Both HRH and I had some acid reflux issues last night - an obvious cause was the batch of brownies I'd made yesterday with Baker's chocolate baking squares. That's fine for a dessert early in the day, but not as wise as an evening dessert, evidently.
We went out on errands this morning. Lunch was a favorite Asian restaurant of HRH's, not so much mine. Ours was the second car in the parking lot. When we left and drove past the Mexican place, there was hardly any parking left, so I think there's a definite preference between those two places.
I finished the rounds of indoor plant care today including deadheading and trimming. Careful clean up after that.
More careful measuring and sewing, pressing today. Two more seams and the middle will be ready to be layered, leaving no more plain seams, just the plump construction seams after quilting. The measurements on those four edges are each an exact 25 and 3/4 inches. Not 25 and 5/8ths. Not 25 and 7/8ths. A victory over hair pulling.

Just watched another curling game. The Newfoundland team beat the Ontario team 12-6!! Dh and I both like the NFLD team.
Just over an hour until Boston Blue comes n.
There is also more curling tomorrow and Sunday. Dh and I MIGHT go to Niagara Falls for groceries tomorrow. It all depends on the weather in the morning. We might go to our favourite Italian bakery.
