You might want to put on your sunglasses, because my clean and sparkly teeth might blind you, LOL.
I am thrilled to say that my car is out of car jail. I checked on it on the way home, and the ice has all melted. There's just some of the usual ice to scrape off of the windshield.
I have another piece of fish in the toaster oven for Germane, and threw together a bowl of pease porridge with frozen vegetables, fresh tomato and dhal. Mmm-mm-mm

Salmon can be relatively cheap here, trissie, because of our geography. They farm Atlantic salmon by setting up nets in the water, so that is a relatively cheap way to raise animals. We have a lot of coastline where few people live. Beef, on the other hand, is more expensive than it has ever been, due to multiple years of bad crop weather out west, so farmers reduced their herds. In Europe, you are probably getting wild-caught Pacific salmon, which is much more expensive but also a higher value fish. Also, what I have is pink salmon, which is not as expensive as red salmon.
Hooray for getting the worst part of the week done with. It's all uphill from here.

Bama that is something that I don't do much of, even in summer. I think that between the city spraying aggressively for mosquitoes and people spraying their lawns, we just don't get the numbers that we used to. When I'm driving to Quebec City I sometimes get that, as I'm driving far enough out in the woods that the insects can hatch out in peace.

Wednesday
Heart pill for dog. Picked up food and set alarm.
Cleaned up after dog
Put away dry dishes
Put away one drying rack
Started to CUOP
Cleaned up after dog, who could NOT have a treat because it was less than one hour since her heart pill.
Dog walked away in disgust after unsuccessfully mugging for treat.
Started salmon cooking for dog
1-hour alarm went off
Opened a new container of dog food, and this was found acceptable
Breakfast for dog
Germane actually licked her plate out into the hall and flipped it over to draw my attention to her empty plate
Gave her some dog food
While I’m writing this, she did it again
Gave her another spoonful of dog food
Flipped the salmon and put it back in the toaster oven
Fed dog again: this was the one-too-many, as she can smell salmon and is not to be fobbed off with dog food, even from a new container
Topped up kibble and put her kibble dish back in her pen
Spent some time on course
Treats for dog
Spiffed self
Settled dog with treats but loose in the apartment
Went to dental appointment. Got teeth cleaned.
Checked on car: it is out of ice jail.
Came back to apartment. Germane was very good, not barking and she used her pee pads correctly. Gave her the last of the salmon.
Put some basa on to cook for her
Made a quick lunch
Washed oven gloves

Germane has Little Dog Privilege, helia. Give her a piece of chicken? She'll break out in a rash and scratch a hole in her side. Offer her a hot dog? Be prepared to spend the next 24 hours washing the floor over and over. On the bright side, she's so little that it doesn't matter what I pay for her protein. Not like when I had coonhounds and my Labrador. She's like my car; it doesn't matter what they charge me for fuel, it uses so little of it.

Your car should be well preserved, practically ageless, as it stays frozen for periods of time.
I never thought about different types of salmon in different countries but it makes sense.

I’ve updated my list. Spent some time out back going through the yucky jars, emptying the bin and seeing which ones might be vintage and putting those in a keep pile. They’re actually all “vintage” but unless they’re really old or an odd make then they’re still not valued at much. Just keeping some for sentiment. And because dh has turned me into a hoarder.
Oh well. I’m getting rid of most and I’ll purge again and again for until I die lol.

The dogs enjoyed the time outside with me. Now we are on the porch enjoying the beautiful sunshine and the birds singing. Mr Turkey kept talking to me while I sorted jars. I gobble, he gobbles, who knows what was said? No clue but it was pleasant and no neighbors to see and question my sanity.

I cooked corned beef hash yesterday, it seemed appropriate, but then we went out to eat, so that’s what’s for dinner. There’s leftover spaghetti too. Options. Makes my evening easier.

I took advantage on a special offer and had a pizza delivered. I am now eating until I explode.
