(I didn't know where this should go so started a thread here. If there is a better place, mods, just move it.)
I made this charging station for myself this morning to hide the clutter on my counter top.
The problem: I needed a handy place to recharge my Palm and my phone. Techinically, the Palm can use the phone charger but that takes overnight compared to just a couple of hours with its dedicated charger so I keep both out at home.
The solution Make myself a charging station out of a cereal box, covered with contact paper.

Re: Cell phone/electronics Charging station
Look carefully at the cords. So many computers and other devices have common cords you might be able to sort that down to one of each style.
Look and see if your phone you might use some day also can charge via USB. The same USB cord connects the phone, my old camera, my mp3 player and my palm pilot, plus dh's smart phone to a computer. Therefore, when traveling, I only have to take one cord for my four devices. The phone and palm pilot recharge off the computer's usb so I don't have to take a charger for either of those with me either.

Wow, Kathryn-in-Canada, you are so creative! I wish I would have thought of that! Instead, I patiently searched online for Walmart coupon codes so I could buy a charging station without paying full price.
One question, though, is it safe to have cords inside a flammable cardboard box?
