Re: November 2012 Declutter Strategies
Hi, Nancy, elly, blessed.
It's the morning of the charity pickup, and I set out 2 tall kitchen bags really full. I had already made up one, and I made up the other this morning, of about half clothes, and half other items. Just from my clothes closet, 7 items donated. Also threw away 7 of my clothes items. So that's 14 pieces of clothing I personally let go today.
Not really a drop in the bucket, truth be told. I'm still not happy with how I save clothing but I'm getting a handle on it. Just because something didn't go out today doesn't mean I haven't targeted it today, to watch and see if I really need it. And maybe it will go out later because I became AWARE. Awareness is half the battle.
I'll come closer to Cowinkie's closet ideal I hope. Right, BookSaver, "At least by documenting here, I have proof that something is actually leaving the property."
