Some of us are following the Focus cleaning schedule in the Organization and Simplification Tools forum, and it might be helpful to declutter those rooms one week ahead. Focus cleaning is adaptable, of course, so even those following it drift in and out of different rooms as needed.
Here's a reference if you hope to find some friends decluttering in the same room "with" you each week.

If you don't believe in miracles, you're not being realistic.
I have set aside a big bag of plastic food storage dishes to take to the sewing retreat later this month. We do our own catering at the retreat, and always have a need for dishes to store leftovers during the 3 days.
Any of these dishes that we don't use at the retreat will stay at the meeting place because they serve a lot of community meals and send food home with people.
Also continuing to sort and purge boxes of papers and magazines.
Have started a box of books to donate to the next library book sale.
Last night, I took a shower, got in a lounge dress.
Then, I looked underneath where I've been laying my shower cap in the corner outside the tub, next to the wall on TILE! I had black mold underneath my shower cap on the tile!
I put the shower cap on the tub corner instead, where it can be easily wiped off!
Then, I cleaned the mold, but noticed how I had this long 18" x 5" blue pottery flat thing with lotions, shower bath gels and shea butter cans on it. I stripped it off and what did I find- AGAIN! A little BIT of mold on the tile!
I cleaned up the blue thing, dried it off, put it under my sink, I ditched lotions, gels, and bubble bath I NEVER use!
I kept the ones I LOVE, kept the shea butters, put them back on the blue thing, under the sink.
I now have a glass oval crystal bowl with sea shells in it, where the shower cap used to be on the tile and I also have 1 huge sea shell, too. It's BEAUTIFUL!
Whew! Was I ever TIRED after that job! I had a GOOD SLEEP, too!
So that's my little "Declutter Story" for the weekend!
The End- or the beginning!

I decluttered an end table drawer today. I worked for 20 minutes, found homes or the burn bag or recycle for things. I still have to sort through and read the 3 x 5 cards and 4 x 6 cards, which are in the drawer.

To donate: 1 more DVD, small glass bowl, ceiling fan and TV cabinet! We set the tv on a low table that we already had...it looks more up-to-date. Found a shelf in the pantry for the movies that we never watch, but must keep.
I've been plugging away at the deck patio and carport area it needs more work. As the weather warms up more gardening stuff starts to stack up there. I moved the grand kids toys out of the front walk way by the front steps and buckets and planters too from digging adventures we were putting a rose in the ground on the side yard yesterday.
