Now I need motivation again. My blanket is done. I had ideas for projects. Not sure what to work on. I need to fix the craft room and then I can do the mending. But maybe I just have to focus one at a time and do outside first.

I did not do the graduation cards last week. I went upstairs on Saturday afternoon and fiddled but couldn't get any inspiration going, so I left it. I haven't stamped in a while, and I get into a rhythm with it when I do stamp often, and I just couldn't find the groove. I was moving cardstock here and there, trying this and that, and nothing was working yet.

Inspiration. Yup it's sometimes hard to find.

Maybe I will just get out the other one i made years ago. I knitted a blanket. Bought from a kit. It turned out ok but I don't know why I didn't hide all the ends. Maybe cause I was unsure how on every color change? Maybe 10 years ago. I have on my list that I was going to crochet a border on it to hide all the ends. That would be an easy one to improvise. I think I will donate that one once I make it look a bit better.

CI
I need to make up more fabric gift bags for the sets of hot pads and dish cloths for the family.
Found ones I had already made yea!
I have the shades of green prayer shawl over half done now.
Updated it is 3/4 this done now yea!

[I have a purple black and one other color one started.]

Thoughts of next one to consider saw a beige tan and green yarn will hope to get at some point
if they have enough. I'm thinking I only need 2 not three of these larger skeins !
I found that I had already gotten that and it was started already awesome,
so I've done 4" on that camo. colored one wa-hoot!

Point of Interest:
dsis is making baby blankets and has started a crochet group
at the senior center where she is active and a board member.
They do lunch meals Tues. - Thurs. for seniors or any one for a fee at their center
some take it to go. No cafe' in that town
so it's a plus and bonus for ones that do not want to cook & need social contact.

That's wonderful for your sister, Nancy.

If anyone is able to watch Netflix, or eventually watch in any other way, do take a half hour and watch the new Documentary, "The Quilters".

I was really spellbound by this short film. It's about a group of men in a maximum security prison (I didn't hear any less than 14 years still remaining on anyone's sentence). They work from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 pm weekdays making quilts for foster children and autistic children. Some is a little painful to watch, because there is a lot of regret. But what stood out to me was the willingness to be awkward beginners at an art that doesn't usually attract tough guys, and to do it because someone else has a need for comfort.

CI / progress report I have knit 18" on the camo color shawl.
Looking forward to have brighter and lighter colors to knit in the future.

-----
Up to 24" now on the project mentioned above.
Now it's 1/3 of the way done yea!

-----
I have paint set out for a project I have on hand. It's for a small table and will dry in the heat
we have here this week. I just need to get started on it. It's got a dark brown top and biege legs.
I would like sea foam green shade only with more of blue tint maybe navy on the top. I'm still
deciding on it. I have a free standing full length mirror to paint white too.

Crafty alert: I received ribbon in the mail today from a "ribbon share" and my "paper share" is coming on Monday. When Stampin up releases a new catalogue, some demonstrators do a paper or ribbon share and each participant receives 1/4 of each package of new paper, and 1/5 of each roll of new ribbon. Makes for about two yards of ribbon per person, and ten or twelve quarter sheets of 12x12 "design" paper. Will be feeling creative for sure next week!
