Cathy, that's great that you two had your own grapes to snack on while on your patio. What a picture of late summer enjoyment from your own place. I've never quite known what to do with raspberries. They are good on top of, say, breakfast pancakes, for sure. Pretty decorating a cake. But put into smoothies they sort of ruin the texture with hard bits. I never feel all that obligated to strain them for anything. They would make a lovely jam, but so would other fruits that don't require an extra step.

We finished TMClub and it was really good, with the thing I love about stories of any kind, the "full circle" so you understand the beginning as it relates to the end - satisfying. HRH and I disagree on one thing. He says this is it, because you can't pay these A-list stars enough to get them to come back to the same cast often. I think the movie could even be aiming toward a series, though, otherwise why develop the characters further and further right up to the last? Oh well, they say the book is even better than the movie, so that's interesting. If added to my reading list, I'd get to it about a decade from now, lol, but ddolder might enjoy.

Tomorrow, unless the children come, I want to get to some more sewing, finish bathrooms, re-do the kitchen counter after its change today, auditioning items that might have a place there. I missed the prayer meeting, but it is recorded, and I have a sermon I want to catch tomorrow, too.

Can't believe it will be the last day of August.
