You're a great sport about people spelling your name wrong, Bama. It's our last name that people don't know what to do with since it's Dutch (dh's family name) and has -aau- as the main vowel. LOL!

Doggedly that sounds like an interesting show! I own a book on the history of English - but I haven't read it, so it's not doing much good.

Another interesting true English experience. When we were in Australia, ds came home from school one day and told us that his English teacher had said these 4 words were homophones: poor, pour, pore, and paw. He found that very interesting - as did we!!

Dbro is here. I didn't do everything, but their room is ready and the bathroom is OK. I've made my own bed, had some qt, and reclaimed the kitchen. And had a phone conversation with dh.
