House tasks: Replace the bit of mortar that's fallen out of the edge of the roof (I think its called the verge? Can this wait until next year when we get the house painted when a roof ladder will be in place?) I need for it to stop raining before I ask anyone to come and look!

Bama, I am lucky that Germane takes pills like a champ, rolled into dog food. My issue on the weekend is that the dog food that she was eating happily is tiny pieces in gravy, so it is unsuitable for hiding pills. We worked it out. Unfortunately, the switching of foods is a bit hard on her guts, but if she settles consistently for one food, that should settle down.
German Shepherds are smart dogs. I can picture how difficult it would be to medicate an unwilling one.

Kittykatt, that is great that you have the option of getting your cats' meds from a pharmacy. North American animal hospitals earn a huge markup from their meds and most will outright refuse to write a prescription to take elsewhere.

New dental plan claim went through with no issues
Could not carry on with errands as I had to go home to the bathroom
Let Germane out of her pen
Cleaned pen
Took Germane out for walk. It was warm enough, but the sidewalk was unpleasantly slushy and salty. Germane declined.
Checked the donation box on the way back: it’s gone. The drive is over.
Washed Germane’s eyes and paws.

Hi all. I think I maybe posted in the morning yesterday.. did I? Oh well. Yesterday was very full but it was good. Church and practice after. Then we had a bit of time between. I actually had time to rest a bit. Then the banquet went really well again. Always seems like around 100 people. Music is done for the season since we will be away next Sunday. I mixed and put on pans my Danish butter cookies this morning. Gonna take them out of the fridge now and bake them after supper is done. Hopefully the boys haven't eaten too many ginger snaps but I don't think so. I just have to melt the chocolate and dip them. Then baking is done. I'll have to see if dh has any creative ideas for gifts cause now that's what is left for prep.

Until we get to dd place i think. Sunday looks like dh dad and his brother and wife and girls are coming to dd place for the day. We'll have to figure out food for that. Maybe go next town over on Monday to dad's while likely dsil has to work.

I need to get up and make rice and veggies and get cookies ready to bake.

I think that I'm going to head to bed early. The theory is that I can wake up early and get out and do my errands that I keep not getting to. Have a good night!
