July habit to focus on =
Enjoy eating a salad. Salad days are the best days!

Protein goal = 40%. Average since July 11th = 47%
11⭐12⭐13⭐

Established healthy habits =
⭐Sleep = 7hr 14min average 30 days
⭐Hydration = 120oz+
⭐Cronometer = 374 days logging, 30-day average = 1307 calories, 29% protein
⭐Move my body in July = AM walks=12, Exercises=13, PM walks=5, 30-day average = 5049steps, 10 hours with 250+ steps,
⭐Better Bedtime routine during July = 7
⭐Declutter & deep clean habit during July = 9
⭐Weight loss is at an average 30-day pace of -.45% resulting in a total 16.67% body weight removed since 7-5-2024

Increasing my protein % is bringing sanity back into my thoughts and eating. That may be a bold statement but anyone who has battled food cravings understands the peace that happens when they go away.

I haven't lost any weight this month other than losing the weight that I recently gained. The number on the scales is back where I started at the beginning of the month.

My scale moved a smidgin.

Stayed on my eating plan
Drank 80+ Oz of water
Swam off and on for more than 6 hrs.

My brains food noise if finally more calm

I have changed the name of my focus this month to better description. I include all non-starchy vegetables and berries.

I am seeing progress in hip pain that has been restricting my ability to walk. Last night I was able to do a longer PM walk with no pain. I hope I never forget the joy of being able to walk freely and without restrictions.

It has been one week since I changed my protein %. That modification to the way I eat has brought nothing but good results. I don't pay any attention to carbs or fats. I am fearful of trying to establish a restrictive mindset that might cause me to rebel. I solve that by keeping my focus on protein and letting everything else (carb & fats) be whatever happens.
I am curious....my hip pain has almost disappeared during the same time frame that I have focused on protein %. Is that a coincidence or cause/effect? hum...
