Monday
I've done my exercises for today: 22 hearts

I drank 8 glasses of water yesterday: 14 hearts
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've done 30 minutes with the lightbox: 22 hearts
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ❤️❤️
Sit to stand 5 repetitions ( I've further reduced to 5 repetitions on advice from a friend who knows about these things, as my back / hip is still painful-) I managed this yesterday: 16 hearts

Circle walk goal is 10 laps a day, currently averaging 11 laps
1⭐2⭐3⭐4⭐5⭐6⭐7⭐8⭐9⭐10⭐11⭐12⭐13⭐14__15⭐16⭐17⭐18⭐19⭐20⭐21

Fasting goal is 14+ hours a day, currently averaging 16:42 hours.

Last night, I found myself binge eating. I’ve mostly overcome this old habit, but when I was at an emotional low it reared its ugly head, and I wasn’t ready to fight it off. It’s been months since I’ve felt that almost uncontrollable urge to eat... and eat... and eat—and it was not fun. My body didn’t handle the binge well, showing its displeasure with burps, restless sleep, swollen joints and ankles.
This morning, I can see what happened. I was emotional yesterday, coming to terms with the loss of DH’s memory, and I turned to food for comfort.
It happened, and now I’m picking myself up, dusting off the failure of not being kind to my body and moving on.
My goal is progress, not perfection.

(((Lady M))) you're going through a lot right now, so it's understandable. Can you think of ways to distract yourself so you're prepared for when if happens next? (Sipping several glasses of water, slowly, going for a walk, chatting to a friend, are all things that come to mind as suggestions,)

Actions I can take that will help with binge eating.
** Eat enough protein and calories during the day so I am not physically hungry late at night.
** Distract myself with sugar free hard candies, a cup of warm broth, or icy non calorie treats.
** Go to bed!
