Dh commented this a.m. that the scale was not kind to him this morning, and I concur. But I know how trips are and the water weight will come down. I did drink a lot of water while away but also ate/drank more than usual and had fewer steps. The conference layout was very compact, unlike some I've been to that were very spread out with lots of steps needed.
Anyway, it's back to more normal eating and walking ddog. I missed capturing some steps because Fitbit needed charging this a.m., but I'm at 3800 so far.

The habit of a better bedtime routine is my H&F focus in May.

Established healthy habits =
Sleep = 7hr 41min average 30 days
Hydration = 120oz+
Cronometer = 327 days logging, 84 mineral/vitamins, 30-day average = 1148 calories, 39% protein
Move my body = AM walks=27, PM walks=17 Exercises=27 in May, Average = 6545 steps, 12 hours with 250+ steps,
Weight loss is at an average 30-day pace of -1.86% resulting in a total 16.40% body weight removed since 7-5-2024

I managed 53K steps last week, through Saturday, surprisingly. This week I'm off track, Sunday was okay but the trip home on Monday resulted in a very low step day. Yesterday was over 8K, tho. Trying to eat better and nudge myself back into losing weight.

I still can't settle on a H&F habit to work on during the month of June.
Some possibilities that I am considering ....
** eat a potato every day. When I eat potato at the end of my day it results in better sleep. Why? I have no clue. Just something I have noticed.
** Eat fresh vegetables every day. I do this most days, but I want to become more intentional about it. Basically, it would just be eating a fresh salad with mixed ingredients.
** Keep my step count over 7K average.
** Use dictation voice to text recording in capture OMM in OneNote journal pages daily. This may not seem like a H&F type habit but it does give me mental help and reduce my stress

On track for 49K steps for the week ending tomorrow. I might get to 52500, which is 7500 steps daily, but I'm not going to push it. Yesterday was first workout in a couple of weeks, between the travel and UTI. My weight has tracked down a couple of pounds from the high on Tuesday following the trip, but I do a 10 day weighted average and use that so it's slow to show any results.
