Developing a declutter habit is my H&F focus in June. I will be posting daily progress in Sort, Tidy, Declutter thread.

Established healthy habits =
Sleep = 7hr 24min average 30 days
Hydration = 120oz+
Cronometer = 357 days logging, 84 mineral/vitamins, 30-day average = 1205 calories, 33% protein
Move my body in June = AM walks=17, Exercises=27, PM walks=15, 30-day average = 5339 steps, 9 hours with 250+ steps,
Better Bedtime routine during June = 23
Weight loss is at an average 30-day pace of -1.35% resulting in a total 16.26% body weight removed since 7-5-2024
I am going through a challenging time. My right hip pain is limiting my movement along with DH loss of memory episode that that is my short-term complete focus.
I am doing my best to limit poor eating choices and continue to move as much as possible.
I will get through this difficult phase. It is my hope that it will happen without doing major long-term damage to my health.
There are highs and lows in every aspect of our lives. I don't expect to stay in this difficult phase.

Re: Health and Fitness June 2025
Last night I wore a dress that I think I purchased in 2019. I only wore it once or twice, then gained weight during the pandemic. It was in the back of the closet and I was going through what I might wear for the reception. It's slightly too big. Dh said he didn't notice it. Once it's cleaned I may have it altered to take out some of the extra bust and shoulder and actually wear.
Proof it's not just the weight, the workouts have obviously paid off!

Congratulations, Twins! I'm sure you looked wonderful in your dress. And all your hard work and perseverance has definitely paid off.
Lady M, I'm sorry about the hip pain - do you see the physiotherapist soon? In my experience they are very helpful, but the exercises they recommend can take up to 3 months to work completely (although often it's much faster) so it's usually not an "instant fix", but they should be successful at relieving your pain in the long run.
Saturday :
I did my exercises - 28 hearts

Yesterday I drank 8 glasses of water - 16 hearts

No appointment with the physical therapist yet. The family doc sent them a referral, so they should be contacting me. I was supposed to get xray of hip this week but I postponed it while focusing on DH memory loss episode. Hopefully next week both the xray & PT visits will happen.
The hip pain is greatly reduced and is now mostly an awareness to move gently. Is it healing or have I learned how to adjust my movement, so the pain doesn't happen? I suspect a bit of both. I don't walk my normal speed because I don't want to feel the pain. Until I find out what is going on with the hip pain, I am taking small and gentle steps.
Twins - Congratulations! Wear that dress with confidence and knowledge that you have made a positive difference in your health.

The new month starts in a couple days, so I have started the process of setting up the new monthly tracker. The declutter habit I chose for this month was not a rockstar success. However, even with only about 50% success in daily action overall, there were great results. I need this habit in my life. I am going to spend another month developing this habit.
In addition to working on this difficult habit to establish, I am adding a simpler habit to focus on during the month of July. I want to establish the habit of prepping salad greens every morning. Salad days are the best days!
