Household Notebook Discussion
From Indiana
I keep everything in a planner instead of a household notebook. The pages are 5 x 8.5. Just the perfect size for my needs. It has my calendar, phone numbers, and tabs labeled for information I keep handy. As an example, I have one for Dh that lists clothing sizes, soc. #, insurance #’s etc. I have one for me. Jake even has one for when his shots are due.
I have 25 tabs that have information behind them. It sounds like a lot of tabs but it works for me.
Does anyone else use a planner?
From Nancy
My planner is a Stephen R. Covey Style one
with dialy weekly and zone lists in a divider
I move it each day.
I went back to 2 page per day sheets this time
I've ordered my refills for Jan. and they are here.
I have used flavia's refills but whent to day runner ones
because they start earlier than 8:00 am like my actual day does.
I have a ton of planners and use them like note books.
Keeping pages for projects in the book case for future reference.
I have plastic pocket pages for clippings of ideas that I want to implement.
I keep a section for notes mostly affirmations and abc dividers for addresses.

Re: Household Notebook Discussion
Mind me asking to list the tabs that you use? I'm in the middle creating a HN or CJ depending on how you look at it.

Re: Household Notebook Discussion
I tested the Household Notebook January calendar page and it did print for me by scrolling down to the link to the "printable version", Indiana and happylittlemom, HOWEVER it printed at 53% size, which was a surprise. When dh gets home I will ask him if it is my printer or the site. I don't believe that new pdf option is loading, as I just sat there looking at an advertisement for too long to keep up my belief.

Re: Household Notebook Discussion
The new PDF option does work - I right-clicked on the PDF link, then selected save as and saved to my desktop and then printed it. Also printed at 100%.

Re: Household Notebook Discussion
Harriet and I are working on a possible solution, fix, or work around.
It may take a little while but one of us will post the results.

Re: Household Notebook Discussion
Sorry I should have been more clear. The pdf ones will print with no problem at all, however, the ones that simply have 'printable' look like they will print but when I print them they are blank. It is not a big deal. Just wondered if I was doing something wrong... that happens frequently
Thanks!

Re: Household Notebook Discussion
happymom I have been playing with printable version. I'm not sure why it won't print directly for you.
Here are a couple of things to try:
click on printable version
when it opens right click on the form
click print picture
does that work?
or
click on printable version
when it opens right click on the form
click save picture as
open the saved file in what ever paint program you use
print from there
does that work?
or
something that Harriet has been working on for you and will have a better answer than I'm going to give
click on printable version
when it opens right click on the form
click copy and paste in your word processing package
print from there
does that work?
Please let us know.
