Re: Friday - PWYC - Two weeks Till...
Today would have been my dsis's 63rd birthday - it's always two weeks before Christmas!
I have very little to do for Christmas anymore - some cards to send and cash for my massage therapist and the paper guy. What else?
Today is Hanukkah at my house - we'll celebrate with kids tonight. DD will be running the Zoom for services tonight so we'll have dinner late. I have a lot of prep today. I piddled around last night and never made the cheesecake, so it's in the oven now. I plan to get the brisket in right before I leave to meet the guy at the cemetery at 11 a.m. I'll make the challah later this afternoon - it takes about 3 hrs start to finish.
One of our neighbors has a small business "Card my Yard" and we had her put up "Happy Hanukkah" overnight in our yard. I think it only stays until tomorrow tho. We went out at 10 p.m. last night to see it - so cheerful, and dh has already put it on Facebook. (He couldn't wait until the sun was up this morning!)
I gotta get busy! Lots to do today. I hope to check in a lot and keep on track.

Oy, I actually need two gifts for ds and he is hard to buy for and I don't have time to run around today! I think I will hold back one of dd's gifts and pick up bottled spiked eggnog for him at the liquor store. He loves eggnog. He won't eat a lot of foods because of the nut allergies. If I ran to Target I could get him the traditional pajamas, tho. I sure do hate to run around today.
In theory I need to finish weekly home blessing today. I think I lost motivation when I got up the worst of the dog fur on Wednesday.

Good morning, villagers ~
Happy Hanukkah!
I saw somewhere that today is Magnum PI Day. Party On! (but only if we're talking original Magnum PI with Tom Selleck)
Today I have several tasks to accomplish to get ready for tomorrow morning's sewing group meeting. I will be seriously disappointed if the speaker cancels this time. She's a fabric designer and I've been looking forward to this topic all year.
Last night working at the library we were surprisingly slow. Normally we are quite busy locating requests for patrons and bagging them for pick up. Not sure what else was happening in TinyTown last night, but it did give me the chance to catch up on a couple other work projects.

Morning y’all...
I ended up getting a lot done yesterday but was slow. I occurred to me it was because I didn’t sleep well the night before and the result was I didn’t get much sleep
I did vacuum, dust and mop the main part of my home. On one of my FB sites I read how people were getting great results mopping their floors with hot water and powdered TIde so I decided to try it on my tile floor. I bought powered Gain instead because of the price.
Oh my what a difference with my floors!!! It even cleaned the corners floor where I tend to get build up and the grout looks amazing.
Need to run errands with Sweetie today including the dreaded trip to Costco. That should be the end of any shopping except for a normal grocery run.
About to get my second cup of coffee...I look like a bullfrog this morning. Woke with my eyes nearly shut, so there must be something in the air brought by the rain yesterday.
Waving to y’all. See you later

EEk!It's two weeks until Christmas - what do you need to do to get ready?

Hopefully "the 3rd time is a charm" as I go once more to the lab for a urine culture today. Have to leave in about 40 minutes.
Dh isn't walking today and he's been doing so well! Said his foot got very lame about 1/2 way around the lake yesterday and is very sore now and lame. He'll try taking a couple of days off and use my stationary bike. I had over 15,000 steps yesterday -no idea how I managed that many. A lot were on the bike, but every round counts as a step.
Charging my fitbit as it was only at 15% this morning. Hoping it's charged by the time I'm ready to leave.
Dh threw our LOL in the washer for me this morning. I just put it in the dryer twin. If I'm lucky he'll have it folded by the time I come back from the lab. He's going to dsonil's Mom's house with him after dsonil wakes up from his nap. (He worked last night).
No residue, RR? Maybe we'll try it.

Good Morning!
I have always been a natural early riser so I'm not sure what is going on. I am going to bed at the same time but my wake up time is getting to be later. Today I woke up at 8:45am after sleeping 10 hours. FB tells me that I am sleeping over an hour longer than other women my age. I don't know if this is good or not. it is what it is.
Today is homeschool & charter school. Only 6 more days of school until Christmas break.

Dee... just make sure you use very hot water and the detergent desolves. 1 cup detergent to 1 gallon of hot water. I actually used boiled water to make sure it dissolved and then added hot water cause my hot water out of the faucet wasn’t hot enough to do that.

hello d book!
hello d rose, hello d lady, hello d dee, hello d twins, hello d everyone.
for being 43 degrees it seems awfully chilly - moisture in the air and wind made the walk cold! Normally that would be weather I would love but brrr.
dh is reliving shows, talking about things we both know about things in our city, talking cars etc. lol he forgets we both grew up at the same time. lol
oh no - loosing focus, warning - warning - warning

Re: Friday - PWYC - Two weeks Till...
Well, hopefully, that'll do it. Went for my culture and am back home (of course I am or I probably wouldn't be at my computer).
Dh and dsonil have gone to dsonil's Mom's to work. Guess dd is meeting them there after work. From there she's going to go to the ice rink to work hockey. Think I'll text dh to get me something at C ulver's -I'm sure they'll be m
aking a stop there after working.
Do have one more gift done for Christmas. Went to put the envelope for a subscription to S inging N ews for dh. He'd said he wasn't going to get it this year because of the cost. Well he doesn't do anything else (except maybe spend $$ on DD/Dsonil). Decided to surprise him, so when I got to the mailbox Mail lady had already been here so picked up the mail instead. Before I got to the steps she was pulling in the driveway. Had a package she'd forgotten for dd. So I handed her the envelope. So that's 3 gifts for dh and I'm done with him (for Christmas anyway
) forgot I had dd order a couple of things for him earlier.
Dh just called me to see what it was I wanted if they came across it while packing. I had asked for P ioneer W oman cookbook (only because I saw a charge for one for his Mom on QVC). So also told him if they came across any G ooseberry cookbooks I'd like those too. Found both but not sure how many.
Think I'll fix my lunch (after I look at C ulver's site). Sure they'll stop there for supper before coming home.
