I work at 1 but should be able to knock out much of this
Got bills set up yesterday.

I woke ar 3:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. Need a bit of a nap.

Thank you for starting us on this Friday the 13th, CostumeLady.

All I really HAVE to do is clean litter box number 3. I am VERY happy that there is no snow on the ground here this morning but it is in the forecast for later today.

Dh and I watched Swamp People last night, so I was up past 11. Tonight Boston Blue is on. I watch very little TV, so 2 late nights in a row because of TV doesn't really make me happy. Dh loves SP, and he loves that I will watch it with him. I took an excursion in the Everglades on an airboat and they took us to find an alligator, so that helps me partially feel like I'm familiar with what they are doing on the show. Those airboats are loud!!

Dh says he will go for the chest x ray today, but he wants me to go with him.

Yes, it's finally Friday. Next week will be so much busier with me leaving on Saturday. I'm not sure why it is I have a need to "finish" things before I go away. Is it a way to combat procrastination? A way to travel without leaving so many loose ends behind? It kind of makes me crazy - I've recognized that I do this to myself, but I do become more productive.

Nothing going on today - I need to s2s and run a couple of errands. I'd like to spend some time stamping - I got a shipment with new design paper this week and haven't been able to open it yet. And I'm telling myself that I've worked hard the last two days - yesterday on dd's tax return, workout, and some research last night. And on Wednesday, tax returns too.

I've suggested that dh and I go to a nearby tulip farm tomorrow. It's supposed to be sunny, high around 75. Today is sunny also, but only a high in the sixties. And that will give me some time today on my own.

Some things OMM:
-call about getting CPAP supplies
-errands, drop off amazon return
-what else can I knock off today and still have some time of my own?

ah Friday the 13th! I used to say 13 must be my lucky number - dh and I had 13 people in are wedding party - lots of great things happened on the 13th. today may be the 13th but tomorrow is national Pi/pie day! we used to celebrate that at school.

I got fired from my landscape company that I have had for 25 years. They have a new policy where you have to pay for spring and fall cleaning - I have always opted in but I have a guy who really cleans up and helps me cut down plants. The price is silly bc I do all the work for years - they never have to do clean up. They told me that it's not worth them doing the cutting only - 375 a month without the plus 1000+ for spring/fall clean up plus what ever they pick up from the property. They were the same company that wouldn't text me when they would plow - leaving us without get our driveway shoveled and had to hire other people to do it. (I wrote them and no response)
she said I should go somewhere else - they do big expensive properties now. They were my old neighbor. no one on our block has them anymore for mowing the grass - I guess I should feel lucky. I wonder if they went through the same thing.

I am thinking I might get a riding lawn mower again.

I CUOPed yesterday and actually remember a couple of things:

Cathy, the combination of diuretics and urinary incontinence is not a fun one, and your DH has a right to be grumpy -- but not at you!

(((lucylee))) Don't beat yourself up with perfectionism, particularly wanting to be a perfect Christian -- if we were all perfect, what would be the point of Christ?

Had a heck of a time getting up this morning. I was not up particularly late last night. I don't know if it was the clouds or the time change, but I think it was too dark. It is not cloudy now -- the high winds have chased them away. The Ohio Turnpike has banned a lot of high-profile vehicles today; I guess they don't want trucks blowing over.

Costumelady, is this the sort of purple that tones down yellow, or is this purple-purple? I have my ends dyed blue.

blessed, it sounds like good riddance to that company. You'd think they'd have some consideration for you as a longtime customer. And failing to be consistent on the snow plowing?

I need to rouse DC -- they need to go in to school today, despite it being spring break, because they have a quiz that's due by midnight Saturday. I think I've mentioned that they use the computers at school for taking their online quizzes because they don't want to install the spyware that the college requires to use your own computer. I'm not looking forward to the drive, particularly in this wind. I may stick to surface streets. If so, I can take the book club book to return to the library where dfriend K picked it up.

So next up will be rousing DC, then lunch, then I hope I can get a wash in before they want to go. I really need to do DH's shirts, which I prefer to do in one continuous operation rather than leaving them to wrinkle. So I'll want a sufficient block of time to do that, and I don't know whether that will come before or after taking DC.
