A few days ago I mentioned having to do something before I lost high speed internet and dh said we'd have it at the hotel. I said, no, we'd have free internet but it wouldn't be high speed enough to do the task I needed done quickly.

Today he watched a netflix show and suggested we watch one tonight. Since my pbs show won't be on, I suggested we do so, and sure enough 10 minutes after starting the download it hasn't buffered enough to watch any of the show. This is what I meant about not having high-speed in the hotel room.

So, no Downtown Abbey, AND no Netflix. Grrrrrrrrr

I'm going to put on some music and do my physio to that instead of watching tv.

Aw, Kathryn. I watched the show, but I fell asleep in the middle of it. I don't know if I'll be awake at 1:00 to see the first little part I missed or the middle.

We had small group here tonight, they did not leave till 9:00. We have 9 members, but only 8 tonight. It is a good group. We have "bonded". Some groups do not do that.

Twins, I'm happy that you figured out how to get your cpap machine back together. Can you tell if it is really helping you? My DCousin uses one, but I don't know what her problems are.

Loved reading about the cakes (I've seen that on tv) and the sewing machines. My machine is old almost 40 years old. It still works well. DMom had a machine that used to be a treadle, but DDad put a motor on it. I used a treadle one time at 1dmil and with navigating the fabric, etc., I kept forgetting to move my feet! I guess I can't chew gum and walk at the same time!

Sunday School this morning, then I helped with one service of the communion. I stopped at store to pick up the Christmas pictures, they are pretty nice. I cleaned up the house a bit and ironed about 6 pieces and folded another batch...in tidying things up I found that I'd forgotten a page when I did a spreadsheet, so one item was missed...so I came back and fixed that. Swept the front porch.

And it is late and I'm getting really tired. Good luck to everyone traveling and those in frigid cold weather.

Have we been missing Elizabeth?
